Tennis icon, Venus Williams, and actor-model, Andrea Preti, did not settle for just one celebration to make their bond official. The couple who got married in Ischia, Italy, in September 2025, have once again tied the knot in a second wedding ceremony held at Palm Beach, Florida, in December 2025. Venus herself opened up about the same during a conversation with Vogue.

The second-time bride admitted that tying the knot twice was never part of their original plan, but the delay in the paperwork to register their union, combined with her Florida roots, eventually led them to make the decision. After a budding romance and two beautiful ceremonies, Venus is set to make a new beginning in her life with her husband, Andrea Preti. Here's everything you might want to know about him. 

Who is Andrea Preti?

Andrea Preti was born in 1988 in Denmark. He had spent much of his childhood before moving to Italy as a teenager. Andrea once shared a post from Copenhagen, Denmark, in May 2024, referring to it as his "homeland". Although the actor now leads a glamorous life in Hollywood, he often discusses his Danish roots and close family ties, honoring his roots.

Over the years, Andrea has built a successful career in Hollywood, holding multiple professional roles. According to his IMDb profile and interviews, he began his career in the entertainment industry as a model before transitioning into acting and film production. The 37-year-old was trained at the prestigious Susan Batson Academy in New York. He wrote, directed, and starred in the movie, One More Day. At the same time, Andrea has appeared in multiple Italian TV shows, including A Professor. The actor was also a part of the 2023 film, Temptation, and the reality show, La Talpa, showcasing her versatile acting profile.

Andrea Preti influenced Venus Williams' comeback

Venus Williams and Andrea Preti were initially linked in July 2024 after they were spotted together on a Holiday at Italy's Amalfi coast. Although the duo has largely kept their romance private, they gradually fell in love behind the scenes. Later, at the beginning of 2025, Venus and Andrea shared pictures from their Bahamas vacation together, where Venus called the actor her "best company" on the trip, seemingly confirming their bond.

However, a prominent confirmation of their bond came in July 2025, at Venus Williams' post-match interview in Washington,, ,D.C., wherein she acknowledged Andre's presence and credited him for her comeback. Sharing her gratitude, she said, "My fiancé is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing. He's never seen me play." Sharing how his support has been vital for her, Venus once told Vogue:

"There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? He encouraged me to get through this, and it's wonderful to be here."

Venus Williams and Andrea Preti had two fairytale weddings in 2025 to seal their bond 

Venus Williams and Andrea Preti had a dream wedding in September 2025 in Italy. However, it faced logistical challenges with international paperwork. Consequently, they fulfilled the dream by completing the legal formalities after some time and holding another courthouse wedding in Palm Beach on December 19, 2025. However, the Florida wedding was anything but simple, as the couple hosted a week-long celebration that included a yacht outing, bridal shower, party events, and some memorable family time. Andrea described the emotional moments as the "second-best day of his life" after their wedding.
