For the unversed, the incident happened on June 18, 2026, a day before Siya’s birthday, when the 20-year-old girl pushed her 26-year-old fiance from a cliff in Pune, leaving his entire family devastated. It is worth noting that Siya and Ketan were all set to tie the knot in Rajasthan. Amid that, Ketan’s father, Vishal shared disturbing details about Siya’s changed behaviour.
Recently, Ketan Agarwal’s father, Vishal had a conversation with Hindustan Times, during which he shared disturbing details about Siya Goyal and the changes in her behaviour after their engagement. Reportedly, Ketan and Siya exchanged rings in February 2026 and were all set to tie the knot in late 2026. As per Vishal, Ketan began noticing changes in Siya; however, he ignored it as he believed that his family members checked her background correctly. Vishal shared that Ketan had also mentioned Chetan's name. Vishal Agarwal was quoted as saying:
"After the engagement in February, Ketan and Siya met frequently and went out together. At times, Ketan expressed concerns about Siya, and asked us whether we had properly verified her antecedents. But as her family was related to us through our extended family network, I reassured him that everything was fine. We thought about delaying the wedding because she was so young but her parents insisted that we go ahead with it as they would not find a match like my son."
Since the past few days, Siya and Ketan’s horrific case is grabbing a lot of attention on social media and netizens are extremely upset and frustrated with it. Netizens online have been sharing their opinion and are demanding strict punishment for Siya and her boyfriend, Chetan, who are accused of killing Ketan. One user commented:
"Scariest part of Ketan Agarwal’s story is that his fiancée had already tried to push him from Lohagad Fort four days before his death. He somehow saved himself by holding onto a tree. When he asked why she pushed him, she said she saw a snake and reacted out of fear. Instead of doubting her, he hugged her and thanked her for saving his life. When she realised she couldn’t do it alone, four days later she asked her boyfriend for help. This time, both of them succeeded in pushing him from the top. Very very scary how blind someone can become in love. Never fall so deeply in love that you ignore obvious red flags."
Another user wrote, "The absolute horror of the Siya-Ketan incident lies in the sickening asymmetry between them: Ketan’s pure, almost childlike innocence paired against Siya’s hollow, predatory sociopathy." A third user penned, "Imagine there are women like Siya Goyal who can mercilessly eliminate innocent men like Ketan Agarwal. Then Siya posts sad videos wishing for Ketan to return and paying tribute to him. And when she is caught, she walks as if nothing happened."
Siya Goyal’s boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary has been accused of helping the former in killing her fiance, Ketan. However, Chetan’s lawyer, a while ago, defended him and shared that his role in Ketan’s death has not been written in the FIR. The lawyer explained:
"If we look at the FIR, the allegations against him (Chetan Chaudhary) are not concrete. His role is not described. It is only said that he is (Siya's) boyfriend. He has been implicated in this case. We have pleaded that accused role is not coming in this. How he has been implicated in this? This is the case of defence. The case is in its initial stages. Police is investigating the case and they have demanded the custody of seven days."
