A while ago, Kaylee Hottle's father, Joshua Hottle confirmed that the actress passed away in a car crash. To announce the same, Joshua shared an emotional Facebook livestream in American Sign Language (ASL). For those who do not know, Kaylee was deaf. In the livestream, her father explained that he was flying to Maryland to bring his daughter's body home.
Sharing details about the fatal car accident, Joshnua revealed that it all happened when he was in Texas. At that time, he received a call from the authorities, who informed him about the accident. Later, he got another call, in which they revealed that Kaylee's heart stopped working when she was on the way to the hospital. Joshua shared a 23-minute video on Facebook and captioned it as:
"I am taking a flight that I never would like to take."
As of now, Kaylee Hottle's family has not shared any more details. However, it looks like the actress passed away due to the crash. Apart from this, reports suggest that she had no other health issues, which could be the cause of her untimely demise.
It is worth noting that netizens are devastated to know about Kaylee’s demise. Soon after Joshua’s Facebook livestream went viral, cinephiles flooded the comment section with nothing but love. One user commented, "My heartaches! I'm sorry for the loss of a loved one. Thank you for everything for your daughter you did! You are a blessed wonderful father to your deaf daughter! For those who do not know, Kaylee Hottle was a popular actress, who was born in 2007. She was born deaf. Reportedly, she attended the Texas School for the Deaf. It is worth mentioning that Kaylee began her acting career at a very young age, and her first project was a commercial.
Years later, she rose to fame with Godzilla vs. Kong. Apart from this, she also appeared in Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire and Magnum P.I. Season 4.
Over her short yet impactful career, Kaylee also worked with Alexander Skarsgard. Reportedly, Alexander had learnt American Sign Language to communicate with her. During an earlier interview, Alexander once praised her and said:
"It’s her first movie. It’s fascinating how comfortable she is in front of the camera and how quickly she takes notes from the director Adam [Wingard]. He’ll explain something and she’ll be like ‘got it, got it’ then she’ll just do it and everyone’s like, ‘The f–k?' She’s so professional and … there’s so much going on on her face. Her expression and the subtleties of that is fascinating to watch."
