Just a few hours before Katie showed up at the star-studded event, she openly shared insights about her latest treatments. It gave fans an honest update on her ongoing cosmetic journey and revealed that she was recovering from the same. Katie revealed that she underwent a 'correction surgery' on both her breasts and facial fillers.
According to the reality TV personality, doctors changed her implant after they saw that one of her breasts was slightly larger than the other. After deciding to undergo the procedure, Katie requested that the doctor add more volume to both implants. She also opened up about her facial changes, which have got the internet talking. However, she explained that it was not the result of any cosmetic procedure but of weight loss and aging. In her words:
"At the same time, where my face is hollow, as you get older and lose weight, [I] put filler in, obviously, while I'm asleep, and he does it under the muscle right under the bone. I didn't have anything put in [my cheeks], and I think the swelling has dropped, [but] I look like a hamster. [I'm] sore."
Katie mentioned that she decided to get a filler treatment under the muscle and near the bone structure around her cheeks. In turn, she was still dealing with swelling and discomfort from the procedure. Taking a dig at the situation, she admitted that the temporary results made her look like her "hamster". Yet the soreness could not stop her from being excited and upbeat on the red carpet.
When Katie showed up at the awards ceremony, everyone could not help but talk about her look. She wore ultra-deep eye makeup, sharply defined lips, and a deep bronze complexion. Her hair was pulled back to give a sleek "wet look" style for a dramatic aesthetic. It was a contrast to her more familiar, glamorous appearance.
Alongside this, Katie shared that she sought help from a new makeup artist for the event rather than going with her usual beauty team. She described the makeup artist as "iconic" and expressed her excitement at witnessing the final result.
Meanwhile, the makeover received a strong reaction online where fans pointed out how Katie looked different than her previous public appearances. Many internet users praised her willingness to experiment with fashion and beauty. But others were surprised by the extent of her transformation.
Katie's transformation was not the only point of discussion. She explained that she had ended her association with her original glam team before the awards ceremony over a disagreement on her styling. Explaining what went wrong, the reality TV star said:
"Originally, I had a glam squad, but they passed on doing the NTAs because I wouldn't wear the outfits they wanted me to. But the outfit I've chosen myself is still different because I don't like to follow what everyone else follows. In a way, they did me a favor by saying they were going to pass on my glam."
Eventually, the reality TV star who has made a name for herself owing to her unique personality decided to take control rather than compromising on her look. Katie explained that she has the goal of standing out with her individual style rather than following trends. So, she views the disagreement as an opportunity to do something different. Katie also removed her hair extensions to get that sleek- wet-look hair look that she had planned for herself.
