In a five-minute video on April 29, 2026, Justin recalled his journey and how the game and his team shaped him as a player and a human. Who is Justin Simmons' wife, Tayrn Simmons?

Justin Simmon got married to Taryn on April 1, 2016. Taryn's entry into his life shaped his career and NFL career, as it was the same year he made his debut. Taryn called her wedding her best day. Talking about how the two met, the couple has been high school sweethearts. Once, Taryn, who often shares glimpses of her life on her IG feed, shared a selfie with Justin. Justin and Taryn met during their first year and soon became good friends in their junior year, and the next year they were madly in love. Meanwhile, Taryn played basketball for two years at Presbyterian College before she transferred to Florida State University.

It was on May 11, 2018, after two years of marriage, that they welcomed their first daughter, Laney Rae Simmons. The couple got blessed with their second daughter on October 24, 2021, and they named her Shae Rose. And in 2022, the family was completed with the arrival of their son, Kyler Eli Simmons. The mother of three kids is a believer in God and follows Jesus.

On April 29, 2026, Justin announced his retirement in a video. He started the video by thanking his fans. He shared how the time in Denver shaped him into the man. He added that when he got drafted 10 years ago, he didn't know about the standards. He said:

"My time here in Denver literally shaped me into the man that I am. To the best fans in the world and Broncos Country, thank you so much for all your support for both me and my family... Right when I got drafted, I didn't know how high the standard was. To hear about how amazing the organization is, the Bronco greats that have exuded excellence both on and off the field, so I hope I left that legacy intact. It is one I didn't take lightly."

Justin further recalled how sacking Tom Brady was his favourite moment as a team where he played his rookie season. He also highlighted that the biggest honour which he holds close to his heart was when he was voted as captain by his teammates. He further added that he plans on being a fan of the team and rooting for them.

Justin Simmons' future plans after retirement

Justin added that he doesn't want to sit in his suite but sit as close as he can to cheer for his team, for whom he had played for several years. He added that it might sound crazy, but this is his dream to see the Instagram people who have crazy fire trucks and all of those things.
