Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley were the most-loved couples. Over the years, they had often expressed their wish to have children. In February 2026, Margaret had a conversation with Vanity Fair, during which she opened up about her married life and her wish to have kids. When asked if she wants to have kids with Jack or not, the actress instantly replied, "Yeah, for sure." The statement is making headlines as it was said only 4-5 months before their separation.
Prior to this, in 2023, Margaret Qualley spoke to Harper’s Bazaar and revealed that she wants to have everything with her husband, Jack Antonoff. Along with that, she also wants to continue doing films. She stated, "I just want to do everything with Jack. One day I want kids, and I’m not there yet, and I want to keep doing movies. And that’s about all I know."
On the other hand, Jack Antonoff also opened up about having kids. However, it is worth noting that he spoke about having kids in a 2014 interview. At that time, he was in a relationship with Lena Dunham. In a conversation with New York Magazine, he described kids as the ‘greatest thing’ and explained:
"It (children) just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I've never met people who have kids who haven't looked me in the eye and been like, ‘It's the greatest thing that's ever happened.' As for the timing? "I think it's biological. I'm 30. I'm not that young, right? I'm not, like, 24 or 22. I'm no longer in the phase of my life where I talk about everything as in the future. Like, I'm in the future."
Despite their love for kids, it is worth mentioning that Jack and Margaret did not have any children. They did not even have kids from their previous relationships. For the unversed, before finding love in each other, both Jack and Margaret had their share of relationship. The pair met in 2021 and later tied the knot in 2023, in an intimate ceremony.
Sources close to the much-loved couple, Jack and Margaret, had a conversation with People Magazine, a few hours ago. During the same, they revealed that the pair had been dealing with a ‘rocky’ relationship and have decided to separate as they are still ‘figuring things out’. Till now, neither Jack nor Margaret has shared any update on their relationship.
However, amid their separation a shocking detail has been revealed about Margaret. For the unversed, the actress skipped Taylor Swift’s wedding saying that she had to shoot for her film. Well, now, a report by TMZ confirmed that Margaret’s shoot for King Snake had finished in June 2026 and her next shoot is expected to begin later. Now that Margaret and Jack’s separation has been revealed, multiple reports claim that the actress purposefully avoided the singer’s wedding due to issues with her husband, Jack Antonoff.
It is also worth mentioning that a few days ago, fans noticed some major changes in Margaret’s Instagram handle. Reportedly, she first deleted photos with Jack and later changed her Instagram ID, leaving her fans confused. Amid that, a few hours ago, Jack was spotted in New York City. But, he was photographed wearing his wedding ring.
