Mira and Shahid are one of the most adorable couples in B-Town. Recently, filmmaker, Farah Khan offered Mira a role in her film. Besides being a director, Farah is a YouTuber. Her comic stint with her cook, Dilip, is the centre of attraction of her YouTube vlogs. Now that Farah offered Mira a role in her film, here’s how she reacted.

Filmmaker, Farah Khan is widely known for launching Deepika Padukone in her film, Om Shanti Om. For the uninitiated, Deepika made her Bollywood debut with the film, Om Shanti Om, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. Now, in a recent vlog, she offered a film role to Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput. In the vlog, Farah and her cook, Dilip, were joined by Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor and Shahid’s wife, Mira, and they together had a tour of the house in the heart of Gurugram, Delhi. However, Mira’s entry in the vlog caught our attention. Seeing her beauty and fitness, Farah said to Mira, "Mira, you can become a heroine. Do a role in my film." In response, the star wife smiled back and said:

"Nahi banna."

When Mira Rajput chose motherhood over work

Mira Rajput is a mother to two kids, Misha and Zain. In 2017, Mira opened up about motherhood and her responsibilities as a wife at a Women’s Day event. For the unversed, Mira and Shahid welcomed their daughter, Misha, in 2016 and were blessed with a son, Zain, in 2018. During the event, the entrepreneur shared that she loved being at home and enjoyed being a mother to her child. She mentioned that she wouldn’t want to spend just an hour with her child and rush to work. Mira added that she wanted to be there for her child as Mis grew up. She was quoted as saying:

"I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work. Why did I have her? She is not a puppy, you know. I want to be there for her as a mother, seeing her grow up has, cannot be quantified."

When Shahid Kapoor revealed his admiration towards his wife, Mira Rajput, for sacrificing her career

In a 2025 interview with SCREEN, the O'Romeo actor revealed his admiration towards his wife for her personality and life choices, which include embracing motherhood in her 20s. He felt proud of his wife, who had begun to focus on her career. In 2023, Mira launched her skincare brand, Akind. He was quoted as saying:

"I think Mira has her own personality, and I have mine. Definitely, she has begun to do a lot of things lately. She had made a very strong decision of first having her kids and then chase her career. And I think that has worked in her favour. She is building on things, and she did do what she thought she wanted to do as a mother, and she dedicated her time. Now, she can slowly feel free and do things she wants to do. I feel prouder and rooting for her."

Shahid and Mira share an age gap of 13 years. The couple tied the knot on July 7, 2015. Mira was just 20 years old when she got married to 34-year-old Shahid. The duo had an arranged marriage. Within one year of marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, Misha. Later in 2018, they welcomed their second child, Zain and completed their family.
