Television actor, Harshad Chopda, finally broke his silence on his ex-girlfriend, who cheated on him with his friend, and whether it was Sriti Jha.

But since day one of his stint in the reality show, Lock Upp 2, Harshad has been making headlines. First, he made a big revelation by admitting that he once tried to end his life after he found out that his ex-girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend.
Recently, in an interview with Indian Forum, Harshad was questioned about the big secret he shared on the reality show. The interviewer told him that after the revelation, people started finding out, and many wondered if it was Sriti Jha who cheated on him with his best friend, Kunal Karan Kapoor.
However, Harshad quickly dismissed the claims and stated that Sriti has been his dear friend and she wasn't the one. But he chose to ignore the question regarding Kunal Karan Kapoor.
For the unversed, Harshad had accepted that he tried to commit suicide after he found out that his ex-girlfriend had cheated on him with his best friend. Talking about how hard it was, Harshad stated that this has been a secret he never shared with anyone, but he lost his friend and girlfriend in one go. He said:
"I lost two of the most important people in my life. Ever since then I've struggled to trust people and open up. It is a secret I've never shared with anyone. I lost my friend and my girlfriend...My girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend. From that time onwards, I'm a little wary. That's it, that is my secret."
Further, in the show, Harshad Chopda talked about the most painful chapter of his life. He talked about the pain he had been through. He stated that he slit his hand with a knife and tried to end his life. He said:
"Pehle relationship tha, kuch hua tha, naraaz thi. Phone kar ke mujhe bataya gaya ki yaha hoon, ye kar rahi hoon, kiske sath hoon. Jo main feel kar raha tha, feel nahi karna chahta tha. Aur mujhe kuch bhi samajh nahi aaya, to maine apna haath kaat liya."
For those who don't know, Harshad Chopda sacrificed his seat to the finale for Shivangi Joshi. It happened after Riteish Deshmukh put up a condition in front of Harshad Chopda to sacrifice his position as a winner and give it to Shivangi. Without giving a second thought, Harshad agreed and left the show. Hence, Shivangi is still part of the show.
Talking about Shivangi and Harshad, they have worked together in Ekta Kapoor's show, Bade Acche Lagte Hain 4, and have developed a strong friendship. But ever since they became part of the reality show, Lock Upp, they are inseparable; many pointed out the nature of their relationship inside and outside the show. Shilpa Shinde even tried to add distance between them, but it backfired, and the couple got another chance to make their bond the talk of the show.
Harshad Chopda has been part of his serials. But he kept his personal life extremely private. But for many years, people have linked him to Sriti Jha, and they claimed that she cheated on Harshad Chopda with his best friend, Kunal Karan Kapoor. Despite going through immense pain at the age of 23, Harshad kept the identity of his ex-girlfriend hidden.
