Famous adult star Hana Kuraki of Japan died at the age of 25, and authorities are investigating her cause of death.

As per reports, she was found dead at her home in the red-light district. The reports claim that it was her friend who discovered her body at her home.
Hana Kuraki was living in a residence that was owned by a famous club owner, Sakito, who had leased the apartment to Hana Kuraki's partner, Shota Taira. The reports claim that she was in a relationship with a 29-year-old person who was her high-end customer. Her boyfriend had also shared a long post after her death on social media, after he was part of her funeral.
Sakito shared that Hana's death has left him heartbroken, and she offered her sincere condolences. He wrote:
"I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the passing of Hana Kuraki. I offer my sincere condolences."
Some reports claimed that he was the one who found Hana's body, but he shared a post denying the same. He revealed that it was her friends who found her at his apartment. They were the ones who informed him about her passing. He then went to the apartment and talked to the Tokyo police.
Sakito also urged people to stop spreading rumours and speculating about her death. He further stated that he hopes the world is free from people who use violence to control others or drive them to desperate situations. He wrote:
"I hope that no further harm comes to the deceased or those around her through misinformation or speculation. I also hope for a world free of people who use violence to control others or drive them to such desperate straits.”
Local police and her management have yet to make any statement about her passing. As per reports, Hana chose the profession of being a porn star in 2024. She was even ready to take part in the adult industry expo in Taiwan this year. She used to be one of the highest earners. She managed to earn USD 1.8 million annually with her work.
Earlier, in June 2026, Hana announced to her fans that she would be taking a sudden break from her work. She cited severe facial and jaw injuries from a traffic accident as the reason behind her break. She mentioned that she had suspended all activities till uncertain time. She wrote:
"Announcement: I’ve decided to take a break for a while, so I’ll be suspending activities for a certain period. I do want to keep up with filming if I can. As for the events currently scheduled, I’ll provide an update when I can."
