The singer eventually started winning hearts with his skills. His debut album bagged double-Platinum, while his debut single, Run It reached #1 on the US charts in 2011.
Chris Brown's life has been filled with controversy, and recently, she made it to the headlines again, as a recent video showed him kissing someone on a stage during his performance. It was claimed that the person whom Chris Brown was kissing was married, and her husband also reacted to the same incident. But there's a truth behind whatever has been shown or claimed.
A clip from Chris Brown's recent concert made rounds on social media, wherein he was seen kissing a woman. Brown was performing on his famous track, Take You Down, when he brought a fan on the stage. During the performance, the woman was seen sitting on a couch, and Brown danced over and sang near her ear.
The moment escalated as the woman grabbed his face and kissed the singer. The moment only lasted for a while. However, the video instantly grabbed the attention, and it instantly started garnering views with people claiming that the woman Brown kissed was married. Well, with the video now doing rounds on social media, a controversy erupted and people have been slamming the woman as well as Chris Brown, even though without proper information about the girl's marital status.
The clip also showed an extended portion in which a man was shown reacting to the woman kissing the singer. The man was claimed to be that woman's husband, who kissed Brown. To mention, there is no confirmation about the woman being married and that man being her husband.
Rather, reports claimed that the extended version, which featured a man reacting to that woman kissing Brown, was an old video from 2024 from an Omah Lay show. That means the man shown in the video was not related to the woman who kissed Brown, and it's also not revealed whether or not the woman was married. Chris Brown has yet to react to the viral incident that took place.
This is not the first time that something like this has happened. It was back in June 2025, when something similar happened when Chris Brown performed and gave his fan a lap dance, before kissing her. Well, the fan was a well-known content creator, Souhaila Jager, who later expressed her excitement about kissing the singer. It was back in 2023 when Chris Brown ended up kissing another of his fans, and it reportedly caused a crack in that woman's personal relationship, as her beau reportedly brokeup with her.
