Bigg Boss Tamil 9 is currently grabbing a lot of attention as it inches closer to its grand finale. For the unversed, the grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil 9 is scheduled for January 18, 2026. While the fans are rooting for their favourite contestants, Divya Ganesan is hogging the limelight for an emotional moment. In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 9, 'Bigg Boss' surprised Divya Ganesan with a montage about her journey inside the BB Tamil 9 house. The special video featured Divya’s happiest moments, conflicts, heartfelt friendships, emotional breakdowns, and how she evolved as a person during the show. Seeing the clip, Divya became emotional. After the video, 'Bigg Boss' instructed her to go to the garden area. When she came to the garden area, 'Bigg Boss's' special message made her overwhelmed. 'Bigg Boss' said, "You win my heart" to Divya and hearing this, she couldn’t hold back her tears and broke down.
The four finalists who will be competing against each other in the grand finale are Aurora Sinclair, Sabarinathan (Sabari), Vikkals Vikram, and Divya Ganesan. According to a report by Free Press Journal, Divya is currently leading. Among the four, it is Divya who is the alleged winner of the show. Sabari reportedly becomes the first runner-up of Bigg Boss Tamil 9, and Auora reportedly becomes the second runner-up of the show. Vikram allegedly finishes in 4th position.
Divya Ganesan was born and raised in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram. From a young age, Divya loved acting and showed interest in both modelling and acting. After completing her education, Divya stepped into the entertainment world and established her foothold in the industry through her immense talent and dedication. In 2015, she made her acting debut with the Tamil soap opera, Keladi Kanmani. She appeared in many Tamil serials, including Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Lakshmi Vandhachu. She shared screen space with popular actress, Vani Bhojan in the serial, Lakshmi Vandhachu.
Later, in 2019, Divya made her Telugu TV debut with the serial, Bhagyarekha. She received widespread recognition for her performances in Tamil serials, like Sumangali, Baakiyalakshmi, and Chellamma. Currently, she is locked inside the Bigg Boss Tamil 9 house and is one of the most-talked about contestants of this season. She is a wild card contestant of BB Tamil 9 and also served as the fourth captain in the house.
Coming to her personal life, Divya is currently single. According to a 2022 News18 report, she was engaged to a famous producer but later it was called off. The reason behind calling off the engagement was not revealed. However, in 2022, when Divya’s fans asked her about her marriage, she shared that soon she would get married.
Bigg Boss Tamil 9 premiered on October 5, 2025, with 20 contestants. The contestants who joined the show were Diwakar, Aurora Sinclair, FJ Adisayam, VJ Parvathy, Tushaar, Kani Thiru, Sabari Nadhan, Pravin Gandhi, Vyishali Kemkar, Aadhiri, Ramya Joo, Gana Vinoth, Vinaya, Praveen Rajdev, Subiksha Kumar, Apsara CJ, Vikkals Vikram, Nandhinir, Kamrudin, and Kalaiyarasan and 4 contestants, including Divya Ganesan, joined in as the wild card entrants. Currently Aurora Sinclair, Sabarinathan (Sabari), Vikkals Vikram, and Divya Ganesan are locked inside the house. Within just a few more hours, host, Vijay Sethupathi will declare the winner of the show and will hand over Rs. 50 lakh along with the trophy.
