Bhadreshkumar Patel's Wedding Photos Surfaces After FBI Raises Reward Money, Fled After Killing Wife

Bhadreshkumar Patel was 24 years old when he killed his then-21-year-old wife using a sharp object in the US. The FBI has been trying to catch him for the past eleven years. Read on to know more!

Bhadreshkumar Patel, an Indian-born, was on a visa with his wife, Palak Patel, in the US, when he brutally killed her. As per reports, his wife, Palak Patel, wanted to return to India with her family as their visas had expired a month ago, but Bhadresh had other plans. When his wife didn't support him in the same way, he executed the most heinous crime of killing her with no mercy, and later, he fled the scene.

It's been 11 years since Bhardeshkumar killed his wife and fled the scene in the US. Investigators believe that either he might still be in the US with his distant relative or he had fled to Canada. They also believe that he could have returned to India via Canada. But the hope of catching him remains high, as Bhadreshkumar is now on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list.

Amidst it, Bhadreshkumar and Palak's wedding pictures are going viral on the internet. The couple got married in India in 2013. They stayed there for some time and then moved to the US. They were like any other couple, only Bhadreshkumar's life plans were much different. As per County Police Spokesperson Justin, Palak wanted to return to India when their visas expired. He said:

"She believed that their stay in the United States had concluded, as their visas had expired, and she had plans to return to India to rejoin her family. However, at that time, Bhadreshkumar had no intention of returning to India, which caused friction between the couple."

What happened on the day Bhardreshkumar killed his wife, Palak?

Palak was just 21 years old when she was brutally killed by her own husband. As per the officials, during their shift at the doughnut shop in Hanover, Palak was talking on the phone with her family and was planning her return to India. This left Bhadresh extremely angry, and he attacked Palak. It was a violent attack as he stabbed her with an edged weapon. The official described:

"During their shift at the Dunkin Donuts, Palak was on the phone with her family, planning her return to India, but Bhadreshkumar became enraged and fatally attacked Pollock that night. I would describe it as a very violent attack, stabbing with an edged weapon."

Even after 11 years, the police are unable to catch Bhadreshkumar. After killing his wife, Bhardresh went back to his home and collected his things. He took a cab to Newark, New Jersey, and checked into a hotel. Later, he was never seen in the public eye. Anne Arundel County Police Chief, Amal Awad talked about Palak and described her as a young and mature person.

Palak was pursuing her master's and wanted to embrace motherhood one day. She was extremely close to her family, her father, her mother and her brothers at home in India. Her family had visited her three weeks prior to her gruesome murder. They noticed how Palak wanted to return to her homeland. However, her husband didn't want to get back despite their expired visas. The chief said:

"She had tremendous love for her family, her mother, her father and her brother all back home in India. Just three weeks prior to her brutal and gruesome murder, her family traveled from India to the United States to visit with her. One thing that was evident to her family, Palak was extremely homesick and wanted to return home. Both she and her husband's visas had expired recently, and she was ready to return to India. However, her husband adamantly expressed no interest to return."
