She is his better half anywhere. However, not many know that once Barun promised her that he won't indulge in an on-screen kissing scene ever.
Barun Sobti once revealed that he has chosen to stay away from any on-screen kissing scene projects. He revealed that it happened after he had a discussion with his wife, Pashmeen, when they were in school. Barun Sobti and Pashmeen are childhood sweethearts, and they got married in December 2010. The couple is also blessed with two kids, a daughter and a son.
Barun, who was the superstar of TV, is now winning hearts with his OTT projects. Earlier, in an interview with News18, Barun had talked about not performing any intimate scene onscreen. He revealed that he had not kissed anyone else apart from his wife. He called it an old moment, which he shared with his wife, when they were 15, and he told her that he wanted to become an actor. She joked that he would be kissing everyone then.
So that's when he made a promise to never kiss onscreen. He stated that he has been keeping up with the promise, but she has been telling him to grow up and allowing him to kiss other women if his work requires so. He was quoted as saying:
"I never kissed anyone else apart from my wife. It’s a very old and valuable story for me. My wife and I were 15 years old when I told her for the first time that I want to become an actor. We were in the tenth or eleventh standard. She jokingly said to me, ‘Oh, you’re going to go around kissing everyone then!’ So, I thought that I wouldn’t kiss anyone onscreen. I kept up with that so far but now my wife tells me, ‘What the hell is wrong with you? You’ve grown up. You can kiss other women if your work requires so.’ But I can’t get my head around it."
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor, Barun Sobti, featured on Farah Khan's vlog. The actor showed around his home. But as soon as Farah arrived at his home, he looked weak, and the way he spoke left many worried about his health. His fans questioned if all is not well with Barun.
After watching the whole vlog, Barun's fans shared their thoughts on it. One user pointed, "For the first time on Farah Khan’s show, the guest energy felt completely off. Almost every celebrity warmly greeted Farah and Dilip, but here Dilip was practically invisible. No proper welcome, no interaction, and he was in the kitchen before the guest even seemed interested in acknowledging him." Another one wrote, "He seems to be weak and not well. I feel he is starving himself."
A third user penned, "I like her wife how she is trying to cover up the situation in a good way farah mam please next time when will visit some alcoholic celebs so please let them know not to take that shoot day..." A fourth user wrote, "Something is not okay with Barun. He is out of zone."
