They had a registered wedding on July 6, 2026, held at the actor’s home. Later, clips of the couple making their first appearance went viral. Well now a new detail about Gauri’s stellar wedding ring has become the talk of the town.
As per recent reports, Aamir Khan gifted a custom-made wedding ring featuring a beautiful and rare cabochon-cut natural ruby. It was sourced from Madagascar. It took nearly three months to find the perfect ruby. Reportedly, the ruby was surrounded with 40 natural diamonds. However, it is the process behind creating the ring that is dominating the headlines.
According to jewellers, Gauri Spratt's wedding ring took more than 256 hours and 131 pairs of skilled hands. It is worth mentioning that the wedding band was not the first custom-made gift that Aamir Khan gave to his now-wife. In early 2026, Gauri was spotted wearing an eye-catching ring, featuring a rare Brazilian aquamarine with 40 diamonds. It was tailor-made for Gauri by the Bollywood actor.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt had an intimate wedding ceremony, held at the actor’s Bandra house. The ceremony was very intimate and was attended by only their family members and a few friends. Reportedly, there were not more than 100-150 guests. For their big day, Aamir Khan looked dashing as ever in an ivory kurta and dhoti. Along with that, he chose a bronze brooch and a heavy silver anklet.
On the other hand, Aamir’s wife, Gauri Spratt looked gorgeous in a beige-hued lehenga with floral embroidery. She completed the look with a sheer dupatta and statement jewellery. The outfits of the newlyweds were designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It is also worth mentioning that as per the photos and videos that are doing rounds on social media, Gauri Spratt looked very happy during the ceremony.

Months ago, Aamir Khan had a conversation with podcaster, Raj Shamani, during which the actor revealed that he did not want to get married; however, after meeting Gauri, his perception changed. In his words:
"Gauri, vo mujhe mili kyunki uss wakt mujhe laga tha ki ab main, meri umar bhi ho gai hai. Ab iss umar me main kahan dhundunga kisi aur ko. Meri therapy bhi shuru ho gai thi tab tak, toh mujhe samajh me aa gaya tha ki yaar actually mujhe apne aap ko healthy banana hai. Aur jo mai pyaar karun, pehle apne aap se karun. Self-love and self-respect, uspe maine dhyaan dena shuru kiya."
For those who do not know, Aamir Khan’s wedding with Gauri Spratt grabbed a lot of attention on social media, as the former has been married twice. Over the years, he had been married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao; however, both of them ended in divorce. On the other hand, Gauri Spratt was also married. Reportedly, she also has a seven-year-old son. Both Gauri and Aamir’s children were present at their wedding.
A few days ago, Gauri took to her IG handle to share photos from the ceremony, in which her son was present. Coming to their love story, Aamir and Gauri first crossed paths 25 years ago, but eventually lost touch. Years later, destiny reunited them. Slowly, they became friends and fell in love.
