It follows a simple plot where a 40-year-old individual participates in a bachelor party weekend with people he does not know at all after he is unintentionally included in a group chat.
Although the story is simple, it has fun elements and a lot of other things that will keep audiences hooked to their seats until the end. Keep reading to know how the adventure of this 40-year-old ends in the film.
As mentioned, the basic premise is about a man who is 40 years old. The lead character here is 'Joe.' His participation in the bachelor party was very unexpected. But at the same time, it helps him understand a lot of things. At the same time, he had a lot of things to be kept as memories. 'Joe' found that the meaning behind having fun was not the same for the other people.
For everyone else at the party, 'Joe' appears out of nowhere, and while it is not easy for him to mix with others at first, the others learn that 'Joe' is not a bad person and that he just wants to enjoy himself without harming anyone. He forms a close connection with 'Mason' and finds how loyal the person is towards the person he loves. 'Mason' tells 'Joe' that he just wants to live a different life with his partner.
'Mason's' friends were also important to him. However, he did not like the fact that 'Nick' always addressed the matter that he won’t be a bachelor anymore. On the other hand, 'Nick's' intention was something else, as he thought that 'Mason' wouldn’t remain the same person anymore. One particular thing said by 'Joe' to 'Nick' also ends up creating some problems in their friendship. It is something that 'Mason' tells 'Joe,' and the former eventually admits his issues with 'Nick' directly to his face.
At the end, 'Joe' tells the group to stay together because loyal friends cannot be found easily in today’s time. 'Nick' and 'Mason' eventually understand that their friendship will remain forever.
'Joe' joined the bachelor party because he aimed to understand the thinking of the modern generation. His second plan was to record something for an ad campaign of a vodka company without letting anyone know about it. He even brought some bottles to the party to keep things authentic and film everything secretly. The plan turned out to be successful, and the four friends were also shocked to know about it.
When the friends discovered the truth, they were not happy, with one of them throwing 'Joe's' laptop. After being thrown out, 'Joe' found some girls who had drugged the entire group to steal their things and left them alone on an island. He realised that if he could recover the scrapbook that 'Nick' made for 'Mason,' the group would forgive him. The plan works, and 'Joe' goes back to the Airbnb.
But a surprise is waiting for 'Joe' as 'Mason' has been abducted by the mafia, who believe that 'Joe' stole some cocaine from them and they want it back. 'Joe' finds that something happened at the party, where he was told to check the cocaine by the mafia and prove that he was not a police officer. However, the drugs impacted 'Joe's' senses in such a way that he stole the jet skis, which had cocaine inside.
'Joe' goes to meet the mafia people, and although he disguises himself as another person, his identity is eventually revealed. 'Joe' tells everything from the beginning, and the mafia boss realises that the person is not wrong. He tells 'Joe' to move on, stating that life is much better with a family and that he should prioritise the people that he loves a lot. 'Nick' sends a video to 'Joe', which is for the ad campaign, and 'Joe' sends it to his colleague, 'Barry.'
'Joe's' fiancée 'Jennifer' is about to leave when 'Joe' arrives and tells her that he wants to be with her forever. He accepts his mistakes and tells 'Jennifer' that everything that he has done so far was because he wanted to be close to his partner. 'Jennifer' accepts his apology.
