Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleA horrific incident recently claimed several lives in Florida on November 2, 2026. A private jet faced a terrible crash, with it bursting into flames immediately after nose-diving into a Palm Beach County neighborhood. The aircraft was carrying nine individuals, all of whom lost their lives. While initially the identities of the victims were kept anonymous, later it was revealed that Jeff Gregory was the pilot flying the jet. His final words before the crash have been revealed.
Jeff Gregory was reportedly a 55-year-old pilot from Pennsylvania, who was identified as the captain of the Learjet 60 that crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida. He had years of flying experience; however, none seemed to save his life or the lives of the other people on board. Regarding his family, not much is known except that he was a father of three children, whom he shared with his wife, Cheryl Gregory.
According to reports, Jeff Gregory was also a devoted Christian whose faith had been part of his life since childhood. One of his longtime friends and former neighbor shared that he grew up attending Limerick Chapel in Pennsylvania. Social media posts claimed that their parents worked at the church, and the boys attended a small Christian school together.
Working in the aviation industry might have been a lifelong desire of Jeff, as, according to his childhood friend, he loved wearing his leather bomber jacket. The Pennsylvanian later pursued that dream, starting aviation training in the 1990s and turning his passion into a lifelong career.
Jeff was reportedly loved and respected by people in his personal and professional life. Those who knew him described him as 'diligent, dependable, and hardworking.'
Jeff Gregory's final words before the Learjet 60 N722BD crashed on November 1, 2026, were captured in a haunting cockpit audio recording. The voice recording featured both him and his 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, with her screaming for her life, fearing a crash anytime soon, and asking Jeff to look outside. She could be heard telling him, "Look out the window, Jeff!" moments before the aircraft nose-dived into a Palm Beach County neighborhood and burst into flames.
A few seconds before meeting their tragic end, Jeff Gregory was heard reciting the Lord's Prayer. In the harrowing cockpit audio, he could be heard saying, "Who art in heaven, hallowed be the name," which became his final words. Jeff's devout Christian faith reportedly came through as he put everything in God's hands while the aircraft rapidly lost altitude, before crashing to the ground with such force that it left a huge crater.
Following Jeff's death, his childhood church has reportedly shared a message mourning his passing and remembering that he has gone home to be with the Lord. They stated, 'Please pray for Cheryl, their three children, and everyone who loved Captain Jeff Gregory.'
The ill-fated incident occurred when Jeff was flying the Learjet 60 at 35,000 feet, heading toward an area of thunderstorm cells amid moderate turbulence and freezing conditions. In an audio recording that has now gone viral, co-pilot Nathalia informed ATC that the outside temperature was -47 degrees Celsius and soon after declared an emergency.
Nathalia then informed the controller that the aircraft was descending sharply, exceeding 20,000 feet per minute. Moments before the aircraft nose-dived into the ground, Nathalia was heard saying, "We're going to crash into the ground."
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the plane crash victims' families as they cope with the loss.
