Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleIn an ill-fated incident, two skydivers died due to impact from a mid-air collision. Both victims were reported to be licensed and experienced in the activity; however, on November 6, 2026, when they began to plummet at about 150 feet above the ground, they collided mid-air at Skydive Elsinore, California. A couple of days after the tragedy, the victims' identities were revealed, and one of the duo's chilling 'deathwish' post surfaced.
Two experienced skydivers, who were taking part in an organized skydiving event in Southern California, were killed after colliding mid-air. At noon on November 6, 2026, their parachutes somehow became entangled, and they collided in Lake Elsinore, about 75 miles southeast of Los Angeles, causing both to plummet to the ground.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office was notified, and they later revealed the identities of the deceased. The skydivers were 56-year-old Georgia Jean of Box Elder, South Dakota, and 29-year-old Levi Pimentel of Aurora, Illinois. Georgia reportedly founded the company Circle Evolution, which "is the collaboration between conscious channel Georgia Jean and the non-physical collective The Circle of Light," according to the company's website.
According to Jean's bio, she started skydiving in 2015 and had more than 1,700 jumps. She was also a self-described mystic and former comedian. As for the other victim, Levi Pimentel, she was a seasoned professional, listed on LinkedIn as a lead instructor at iFLY Naperville, an indoor skydiving company. She had worked at the company for more than eight years and hosted training camps where she taught aspiring skydivers.
In what became their final jump, the two had a smooth free fall and dive, but things turned scary as they prepared to land. Notably, the part where they opened their parachutes also went hassle-free, but tragedy struck right after that, when the duo collided at approximately 150 feet above the ground and plummeted to their deaths, as per Skydive Elsinore.
The skydiving center's statement further revealed that the victims, Georgia Jean and Levi Pimentel, didn't immediately die on the spot after the fall; instead, they sustained severe injuries and were taken to the hospital after emergency services were informed. They held on till they reached the hospital and were pronounced dead there. The statement could be read as:
"The collision caused their parachutes to become entangled, and both sustained critical injuries when they reached the ground."
In 2015, Georgia shared a blog post which included details of her rocky start in skydiving. She revealed that she failed the first level of adrenaline-rushing sport training three times before an instructor told her she "just can't skydive." But Georgia didn't give up; she eventually conquered her fears, and then made a comment that, after her untimely demise, seemed to foreshadow her November 2026 tragedy.
Georgia Jean mentioned the nagging worry that she could be a 'deathwish time bomb just waiting to go off.' She probably said it because skydiving requires precision and expertise, and it can be life-threatening if even a small instruction from the trainer/guide isn't followed properly.
Georgia didn't just Skydive for fun, but she participated in competitions as well, according to her Facebook account. One of the posts of the late 56-year-old revealed that she won a bronze medal with team First Froth in 2024 in a mixed formation skydiving event.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the two skydivers who lost their lives during a mid-air collision in California.
