Indian cricketer, Shubman Gill is currently wooing the audience with his exceptional performance on the cricketing field during IPL 2024. However, apart from the limelight around his cricket career, Shubman has also been hitting the headlines for his personal life. For the unversed, he was allegedly in a relationship with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar, but the duo parted ways a few months back.
Recently, a Reddit user shared a post on the discussion platform and ignited rumours about Shubman Gill's dating life. Going by the post, it can be said that the cricketer has started dating a Spanish girl named Maria Arroyog. The user shared a picture of Shubman's alleged girlfriend from the stadium along with a screengrab of her follower's list on Instagram. Apparently, Maria is following Shubman on Instagram.

Soon after the post surfaced on social media, many netizens flooded the comment section with their reactions. Many social media users started slamming Shubman for his dating life and expressed their anger. A user penned, "Field ke bahar mujhe ye bilkul nhi pasand!", another wrote, "Guys mera cricket crush ab Abhishek Sharma hogya hai. Shubhman is just a playboy." A third user commented, "Bro just grinding holes... until his form lasts."
Earlier, we stumbled upon a clip from an interview hosted by Tanmay Bhat, featuring Shubman Gill and Ed Sheeran. The trio indulged in a fun conversation, and during one of the segments, Ed asked Shubman whether he had a girlfriend. To this, the cricketer replied, ‘No’, leaving Tanmay in splits. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran also took a dig at the cricketer’s response and said:
“On the market guys.”

Not just this, Shubman Gill was also looking for a connection on dating apps. On February 21, 2024, a netizen dropped a screengrab of Shubman Gill’s profile from the dating platform, Raya, on Reddit. The post showed a monochrome picture of Shubman from his old photoshoot with the GQ magazine. Alongside it, there was a short bio on Shubman's dating profile, which could be read as:
“Athlete who learned to paint, to call himself an artist on Raya.”
