The 24-year-old cricketer has time and again hit headlines with newer reports about his personal life. From dropping pictures with the same background to Sara marking her presence at the stadium during Shubman’s matches, the rumoured couple has never failed to paint the town red with their chemistry. And now, a startling remark by Shubman Gill seems to have dismissed rumours about his relationship status.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we came across a clip from the recent interview hosted by Tanmay Bhat, that featured Shubman Gill along with singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran. Amidst some fun conversation which they had, Ed quipped the cricketer whether he has a girlfriend. To this, Shubman straight-facedly replied, ‘No’. Hearing his response, Tanmay Bhatt gave a loud laugh. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran took a funny dig at the cricketer’s single status and said:
“On the market guys.”

Back in March 2024, Sara Tendulkar had shared a picture of herself, clad in a pretty red embellished lehenga. Keeping her fashion quotient high always, the star-daughter oozed every bit of glamour. However, what grabbed all the attention was the presence of her adorable fur baby, who could be seen cutely slouching beside her. Interestingly, Sara’s pet dog has also a special connection with her rumoured beau, Shubman Gill. Well, the cricketer long back had dropped a picture of himself on his social media handle, wherein he posed with a similar breed of dog like that of Sara’s. Nonetheless, it cannot be ascertained whether both the pet dogs are just similar looking or in fact, the same dog.
On February 21, 2024, a Redditor had taken to the discussion portal and dropped a screengrab of Shubman Gill’s profile, as it was found on the dating platform, Raya. The profile featured a monochrome picture of the cricketer that was taken during a photoshoot with the GQ magazine. Additionally, it was the short bio which Shubman allegedly penned in his dating profile, that grabbed attention. It can be read as:
“Athlete who learned to paint, to call himself an artist on Raya.”

There have been endless reports and speculations about Sara Tendulkar and Shubman Gill’s alleged relationship. Moreover, it is worthy to take note how neither of them has ever confirmed or denied all such speculations. For instance, some time back, rumours were rife that Sara was not dating Shubman but instead his friend, Khushpreet Singh. Such speculations got a sense of confirmation when netizens sourced out pictures of Sara and Khushpreet together at various events.
