Kangana Ranaut is known as the controversy queen of Bollywood, who never misses a chance to take direct digs at many eminent celebrities in the industry. However, her rift with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt always stays in the headlines. Kangana shares a strained relationship with the couple and often takes jibes at them for one reason or another. While she always gets slammed for it, it looks like Ranbir was also obsessed with the actress.
Recently, an old video from one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh surfaced on Reddit. In the clip, Karan asked Ranveer to name an actress with whom Ranbir should go on a date. Responding to the same, Ranveer took Kangana Ranaut's name and said that the Rangoon actress and Ranbir would have a lot of fun. In his words:
"Ranbir Kapoor should date Kangana. There's a lot of firework. He loves it."

As Ranveer took Kangana's name, Ranbir reacted impassively. The latter neither smiled nor got offended, he just sat back with his straight face. Later, during another segment, when Ranveer failed to answer a question, he jokingly mimicked Rakhi Sawant and said in her peculiar voice, "Karan chh-eating hai ye." Reacting to it, Ranbir asked if Ranveer was mimicking Kangana as she also had a squeaky voice. Ranveer laughed and asked:
"Kangana is all over your mind or what?"
When the video went viral on the internet, many netizens pointed out that Ranbir was obsessed with Kangana Ranaut. A user penned, "Either there's some history to them or he hates her so Ranveer purposely took her name to annoy him. As per Kangana he used to beg her, stalk her etc. God knows the truth." Another commented, "I've always thought that there's at least some truth to what Kangana used to say."

Earlier, reports about Ranbir Kapoor being selected to play the role of 'Ram' in Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film, Ramayana surfaced online. However, Kangana reacted to the same and seemingly took a dig at the Animal actor in her long note. For the unversed, recently, Kangana Ranaut took to her IG handle to slam a ‘farzi' couple in the film industry, and fans are sure that she took an indirect dig at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. In her long note, Kangana mentioned that the fake couple, who live on separate floors, has been spreading fake news about movie announcements. She also shared how the media never reported how the actor's wife and daughter were snubbed from their recent family trip, while the so-called husband was texting and begging Kangana to meet him. Revealing the dark secrets about the 'farzi' couple's marriage, Kangana asked the media to expose them.
