Social media influencer, Sahil Khan, who has also worked in a few films, was detained in the Mahadev betting app case. Sahil, who enjoys a massive fanbase on social media, was arrested by the Mumbai Police for his alleged involvement in the same. It was began when a complaint was lodged by social activist, Prakash Bankar in November 2023, alleging that several web portals are made especially for online betting and gambling on cricket, football, and many other card games. The Bollywood actor-turned-fitness trainer Sahil was one of the accused named in the FIR, among 32 others.
As per multiple reports, Sahil Khan was arrested in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, by Mumbai Police Cyber Cell's Special Investigating Team (SIT) on April 27, 2024. As per sources close to Sohail, he flew from Mumbai after the Bombay High Court rejected his petition for interim bail and noted that he was directly connected with the Mahadev betting application. The actor was arrested after an operation by the SIT with the help of the Chhattisgarh Police, which lasted over 40 hours. The officials have revealed that Sahil has been brought to Mumbai where he will be produced before a court.

According to Prakash Bankar's FIR, several online betting applications were present on social media, including Sahil's Khiladi Book, a division of the Mahadev app. The FIR also claimed that the accused used social media platforms to find their prospective players. Afterwards, the makers of such applications used to persuade those users to invest and sign up on the portal. Following this, the Special Investigating Team called the actor and several other accused for a questioning session for more than four hours. The team worked rigorously and even conducted a probe into the alleged illegal transactions between certain financial and real estate firms, alongside the promoters of the Mahadev betting app case. The scam is about Rs. 15,000 crore, as per the FIR registered in the case.

Moreover, he is an extremely popular social media influencer with a fan following of 10.9 million followers. Coming to Sahil's personal life, he was previously married to Iranian-Norwegian actress, Negar Khan. However, their wedding was short-lived due to unknown reasons. They got hitched in 2003, only to get divorced in July 2005. Recently, the 47-year-old actor took to his IG handle and shared some glimpses with his 21-year-old girlfriend, Milena, from Belarus, Europe. He even introduced her as his ‘wife’ in a video on social media.

Talking about the same in an interview with Hindustan Times, Sahil revealed that he got engaged to Milena in Russia. He also mentioned that they are legally marroed, and will soon host a reception, in Dubai or India. Following this, the actor will be having a proper wedding in 2024. Further, talking about the age difference between Sahil and Milena, he shared:
“She is very intelligent but also sensitive because she is quite young. We have a lot of differences in our ages. She is much more mature mentally than many other 21-year-olds and also very calm in nature.”
