Nora Fatehi, one of the famous actresses in the Hindi film industry, won the hearts of her fans with her dance performances in songs like Dilbar, O Saki Saki, Sip Sip 2.0, and Garmi, among so many others. Recently, the actress made it to the headlines for her controversial remark on feminism, for which she received a lot of negative comments. And now, Nora hit back at a netizen who called her out for her comment on feminism.
While being on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, Nora Fatehi mentioned that the idea of feminism had ruined society. She also added that men in our society had been brainwashed by the idea of feminism while adding that men should be the breadwinners and women should focus on being nurturers. Now, calling Nora out, a user penned a long note in the comment section and stated that Nora might only have a surface-level idea about what feminism is, which is why the actress had articulated it that way.

On the same note, the internet user further stated how feminism backs strong women and helps them to be free to make choices rather than just bringing the idea of independence. The user added that the actress should look into the idea of feminism with an open mind to understand that it didn't ruin society. The user further requested Nora that being an influential figure, the actress should think before speaking up so that others can look up to her for inspiration. To this, Nora gave a reply and mentioned that she absolutely supports the foundation of feminism, but what she talked about in the podcast was radicalised feminism, toxic feminism, and gender roles in society.
In the same podcast, Nora also revealed that she faced a lot of bullies while working in the industry. She added that there had been people who were disrespectful, as perceived by their facial expressions, taunts, and jokes, among other things. Nora also mentioned that people often talk behind her back, and they don't even like her directness.
