Nora Fatehi Says She Still Takes Physiotherapy For Performing On 'Saki Saki', 'My Back Still Hurts'

After receiving flak for twerking in the Mumbai metro, Nora Fatehi revealed how much hard work she had to put in for her high-octane performance on 'O Saki Saki'.

Nora Fatehi Says She Still Takes Physiotherapy For Performing On 'Saki Saki', 'My Back Still Hurts'

Nora Fatehi is a famous actress in the Hindi film industry. Over the years, the actress won much popularity with her acting skills in Hindi, Telugu, and  Malayalam films. Moreover, it's the diva's jaw-dropping dancing skills that often leave her fans in awe. Some of Nora's famous dance numbers are Dilbar, O Saki Saki, Sip Sip 2.0, and Garmi, among so many others. However, in a recent interview, Nora revealed an unheard anecdote, which somewhat proves how much hard work the diva has put in to perform one of her energetic numbers, which carved a space in the heart of the audience.

Nora Fatehi's dance performance in the song, O Saki Saki from the movie, Batla House, won a zillion of hearts. The diva's grasp over the tough steps of the song and jaw-dropping belly dance was something really praise-worthy. However, she had to do a lot of hard work to deliver such a high-octane, energetic dance performance.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Nora shared that for the last five years, she has had to go under physiotherapy treatment for the pain she got from the dance steps of O Saki Saki. The actress mentioned that the steps of that particular song are her favourite, and she loved how much people loved her performance. The actress added that she had motivated people to push themselves physically. When asked about how she attempted such tough steps, the actress mentioned that she is flexible, which helped her to dance smoothly. Nora can be quoted as saying:

"It was such a tough step that I still do physiotherapy. It’s almost five years since the song released, but still my back hurts. It’s one of my favourite steps. I think that step got people like ‘Woah! What is she doing?"

There's no denying the fact that delivering such a beautiful dance performance consisting of such tough steps needs a lot of practice, high-octane training, and dedication. And Nora's performance on O Saki Saki was enough to speak volumes about the hard work she had done. Earlier, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Nora revealed that while practising the hook steps of the song, she often used to scrape the skin of both of her knees, and it was like a blood bath.

The actress also stated that she got hurt in her lower back so badly that the team members had to call a physiotherapist on the set. Nora shared that she had to work with fire for the first time for the same song, and there were several occasions when she ended up almost burning herself, but it was their hard work and energies that brought the ultimate good result.

Nora Fatehi got slammed for showcasing her dance skills, which got tagged as 'cringe' by the netizens

A few days ago, Nora Fatehi appeared on the show, Dance Plus Pro. Moreover, it was her performance of the song, Naach Meri Rani, that left the judges in awe. However, a certain section of netizens remained unimpressed with the diva twerking on a family-friendly show, which brought a lot of flak for the actress. 

The same incident happened when Nora travelled to the Mumbai metro a few days ago. In several videos, the actress could be seen shaking a leg with other passengers and twerking, which left the netizens utterly irked.
