Manisha Rani has become an audience-favourite star, ever since she made an impeccable stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. While the diva didn’t lift the trophy of the show and emerged as a runner-up, her hearty personality and clarity of mind won several hearts. Thereafter, she participated in the dancing-based reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11 and left her fans elated by bagging the winner’s trophy. And recently, Manisha shed light on a speculation that concerned her last show.
In a recent interaction with Sidharth Kannan, Manisha Rani opened up about several anecdotes from her journey in the reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, that fetched her immense fame. Moreover, she was asked about her strong contender, Shoaib Ibrahim, being a finalist just because of his fanbase and not talent. Talking about the same, Manisha remarked that although Shoaib enjoys a massive popularity, nevertheless, she emphasised how the show itself is based on dancing talent, which cannot be overruled for any participant. In her words:
“No I do not think that was the case. Yes Shoaib enjoys a massive following, however, he is an amazing dancer too. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is a show where talent matters too. I do not think that if you do not know dance, you can go further. He has been an amazing dancer and he had a very good following too. So I think, it was a mixture of both, just not the fan following. He had secured a perfect 30 too so many times.”

Moving forth in the conversation, Manisha was asked if she feels Shoaib Ibrahim’s wife, Dipika Kakar tried to intervene and impress the judges towards her husband. For the unversed, Dipika often used to visit the shooting set of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, to not just support her hubby, Shoaib, but also bring homemade biryani and other food items for the judges and the crew members. Reacting to such a speculation, Manisha set the record straight and claimed that she never tasted the food that was brought, and it was only served to the guests. Manisha expressed that the judges of the show were brutally honest with their feedbacks and no such buttering could have ever helped. Adding how the audience were the ultimate decision maker, she said:
“No, I haven't tasted. I remember she had once brought food for judges. 'No. Of course it was for the judges. I think the judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa were very honest and would have a very honest feedback. I think the real boss is Janta. Yes, judges would give their feedback too. Sometimes, I'd feel that I am being treated very well and that the judges like me. Our work is also to impress the judges as contestants. So, I think we would all want this that no matter what, judges like us and I do not think it is wrong to feed them, or butter them. But ultimately, if the audience likes your work, nothing matters.”
Earlier, in one of her vlogs for her YouTube channel, Manisha Rani shared the good news of unlocking another achievement in her personal life. Well, the social media influencer revealed that she finally purchased a property in her name, and that too, in her hometown in Bihar. Manisha recorded the road journey she undertook to visit the property site and remarked that it was built on an area of 2 kattha land (approximately 5760 square feet). In the glimpses she shared of her under-construction home, Manisha revealed that the entire space would be finished within a duration of 2 months.

Back on March 2, 2024. Manisha Rani got declared as the winner of the dancing reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11. The diva along with her choreographer, Ashutosh Pawar lifted the coveted trophy and couldn’t be happier. Not just that, the duo also received massive cash prizes for their win. While Manisha took home a cheque of Rs. 30 lakh, Ashutosh, on the other hand, was presented with a sum of Rs. 10 lakh. Moreover, they even won a trip to the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
