Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry and is known for his humble nature. He has many friends in the industry who speak highly of him. Amongst them, Chunky Panday, who is yet another talented actor in Bollywood, has a beautiful relationship with Shah Rukh Khan. Their bond has even been transported into their daughters, Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday, and the two gorgeousness are also often spotted spending time with one another.
Now, in an interview with Lehren, Chunky Panday opened up about his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan. He was asked if he and his family has ever stayed in Shah Rukh Khan's house when they went to London or Dubai. To this, he gave an affirmative answer and mentioned that both he and his family has stayed over there for a couple of times. However, he also mentioned his preference towards staying in a hotel rather than at Shah Rukh's house if he ever goes abroad again. Revealing the reason behind the same, Chunky mentioned:
"Yes, Bhavana and others have all stayed in Shah Rukh’s house in London and Dubai. I have also stayed at his house a couple of times but of course I like to stay at a hotel. I would love to stay in someone’s house, but I am messy and I know that they will throw me out of their house in two days. I have stayed at Shah Rukh’s house though. He has lovely houses. I am very proud of him.”

In the same conversation, Chunky then also revealed why he calls himself a ‘kanjoos’ (miser). The actor mentioned that once, he felt that nobody was interested in talking about him. Thus, he decided to turn miser as then people would get a topic to discuss about him. Further, narrating an incident, Chunky mentioned that earlier, when he used to smoke, he also brought cigarettes to the sets. However, at that time, everyone around him was finding ways to quit smoking, and nobody carried cigarettes. Thus, he had to share his cigarettes with them. And after some time, he understood how five to six packets of cigarettes from his pocket used to get finished by everyone in a day, and that is when he began becoming a miser.
Earlier, when Chunky Panday appeared on the Timeout With Ankit podcast, he talked about his brother, Chikki Panday and the latter's bond with Shah Rukh Khan. Chunky stated that when SRK first came to Mumbai, Chikki was one of his friends, and the duo continues to be the best of friends. Chunky also opened up about an unknown anecdote from then and mentioned that while Shah Rukh and Gauri were renting a house in Mumbai, they used to go to the former's house to meet Chikki. Thus, all of them used to sit and watch video cassettes together. Chunky shared:
"I think one of his first friends in Bombay when he (Shah Rukh Khan) arrived was my younger brother Chikki. They're still the best of friends. So, at that time, they were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab baith ke video cassettes dekhte the. So he and Gauri were in my house quite often."

Following this, Chunky heaped praises on Shah Rukh Khan and mentioned that he was sure that the Jawan actor would make it big in the film business. Mentioning that the latter always had a fire in him, Chunky added that the talent had always been there even before SRK became a superstar. Chunky also stated that he was confident enough to know where SRK was going. Chunky felt lucky to have known the Pathaan actor since he kickstarted his career.
