Time and again, they were spotted together, although at different times, but in the same locations. However, they never accepted their relationship, and called one another to be their best friends. Moreover, as per multiple reports, the rumoured couple was also speculated to get engaged in February 2024. However, Vijay later debunked all such claims.
Now, as Telugu film producer, Dil Raju’s nephew, Ashish Reddy and his newly married wife, Advitha Reddy hosted a grand wedding reception many A-listers attended the same. In addition, it was the rumoured couple, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who were also spotted attending the same event one after the other. In a video shared by the paps, Vijay was seen entering the premises. He looked dapper in a black-hued kurta-pyjama with a Nehru coat. Following him, we get to see Rashmika happily posing with the just-wedded duo, and the actress looked stunning in a shimmery saree.

Many other celebrities also arrived at the grand wedding reception of Ashish and Advitha at N. Convention, Hyderabad. Eminent names in the industry, including Nagarjuna, his son, Naga Chaitanya, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu's wife, Namrata Shirodkar, and many others were spotted at the grand reception. For the wedding reception, Ashish looked dapper in a white shirt paired with a matching-coloured jacket, black pants and a bow tie. On the other hand, Advitha stunned in a stone-embellished lehenga choli with broad diamond necklaces.

Coming to Rashmika and Vijay's relationship, once, in an interview with We Are Yuvaa, the actress had explained her equation with the actor. The gorgeousness mentioned that she calls Vijay 'Viju'. Moreover, she stated that they grew up together. Thus, Vijay is someone on whom she relies on for advice. She shared:
"Viju and I, we sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution in it. I take his advice in anything that I do. I need his opinion, and he is not a ‘yes’ person. He is like on the point, this is good, this is not good, this is what I think, this is what I don’t think. He has supported me personally, more than anyone else in my entire life. So, I feel he’s someone who I really, really respect.”

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna keep igniting their dating rumours with their separate public posts on social media. For instance, Rashmika had once dropped a cute photo of herself on her IG handle. In the photo, she could be seen posing at a terrace-like place surrounded by greenery on all sides. Soon, netizens were quick to rush to Vijay's profile to find a photo wherein the actor was seen posing in a similar backdrop, leaving people wondering if the duo has been living together.
