Vicky Kaushal has made a name for himself in the Indian entertainment industry ever since he debuted as an actor in 2015. Over the years, the actor has exhibited his versatility on screen with his top-notch performances in popular films like Masaan, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Raazi, and many more. And it’s not just Vicky’s professional front that garners attention. His personal life, too, became one of the most talked-about topics in Tinseltown when he tied the knot with the Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif in 2021.
Recently, the Raazi actor appeared on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, No Filter Neha, where he opened up a lot about his professional life and his marital life with Katrina Kaif. While conversing with Neha, Vicky was asked by her to recall the ‘most embarrassing web search’ he has made to date. Sharing details about the same, Vicky said:
“My most embarrassing search history has been Vicky Kaushal. Randomly, when I get bored, I’ll search for Vicky Kaushal, but nothing too interesting comes up. I then tell myself, ‘I won’t do this again in my life’.”

During the same interaction, Vicky revealed that he landed a role in the 2018 romantic drama, Manmarziyaan without appearing for an audition. The film also starred Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. Vicky said that except for this film, he had to audition for his other popular films like Raazi, Sanju, Masaan and many more. In his words:
“The first film I got without an audition was Manmarziya. Baki Raazi, Sanju, Love Per Square Foot, Masaan, Raman Raghav 2.0, Zubaan—all those films were because I gave an audition, a screen test, then the director approved it, and then I landed the role. Manmarziya was the first one.”

In the latest episode of No Filter Neha, the host also revealed a sweet moment back when Uri: The Surgical Strike was about to be released. Neha, after clearing that Vicky and Katrina were not dating in 2019, shared that Katrina was completely in awe of Vicky when she watched him in the Aditya Dhar directorial. She said that the Tiger 3 actress’ expression went from “Oh! This guy” to “This guy, oh wow!” while she watched Vicky’s performance in the film. Sharing more details about this, Neha said that Katrina was having a "beautiful moment" during the screening and she looked at Vicky with "a lot of love".
Vicky Kaushal was quite surprised by this revelation and mentioned that Katrina was unwell during the screening, but she still attended it. Further in the conversation, Neha asked how Vicky connected with Katrina, and they ended up marrying. Vicky said that the two felt a genuine connection between them, and further added:
“Just two people meeting and genuinely finding a connection, and that’s how it literally happened. Like we kept meeting, and we just kept feeling that there’s a connection, and till we just took it to the next level, we just felt like okay, this is just happening without an effort. It’s just very naturally feeling right, and that is how it happened.”
