For the unversed, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got married at Borgo San Felice Resort, Tuscany, Italy. We have gotten a lot of glimpses of the lavish wedding, from the haldi ceremony in the open garden, and a retro-themed baraat, to the unmissable regal looks of the newlyweds, and everything was nothing but grand. However, a few reports recently suggested the hefty charges that the newlyweds spent on their lavish wedding as well as on the bride's dreamy wedding saree.
As per a recent report by News18, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi have spent a whopping amount of money on the bride's wedding saree. For the unversed, Lavanya's wedding saree was reported to be designed by the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. And now, the report mentioned that Lavanya Tripathi's wedding saree costs around Rs. 10 lakhs.

There is no denying the fact that a celebrity wedding is always worth crores. Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi are no exception. As per the same report by News18, Varun's papa, Nagendra Babu had allocated a hefty budget of Rs. 10 crores for his son's wedding ceremony. For the unversed, Borgo San Felice Resort holds a special significance as it used to be a historic village and was later transformed into a resort. As per another report by the Hindustan Times, the resort has 30 suites and 29 rooms. And each suit costs a whopping amount of Rs. 1.1 lakhs per night.
For the unversed, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi got engaged on June 9, 2023. And it was the glimpses from the low-key ceremony that melted hearts. For the day, Lavanya wore a light green-coloured silk saree, while Varun looked dapper in an ivory-hued embroidered kurta-pyjama. However, it was the duo's engagement rings that left us love-struck. While Varun could be seen wearing a fingerband made of platinum, Lavanya could be seen flaunting her square-shaped engagement ring. However, as per a report by The Siasat Daily, the rings cost a whopping amount of Rs. 25 lakhs each.

One look at the newlyweds, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's social media handles, and it can blow away the visitor's mind. For her wedding, Lavanya donned a red-hued Kanjeevaram silk saree featuring gold embroidery borders. The diva teamed her saree with a matching blouse that had the same embroidery border on the sleeves. Heavy temple jewellery, the perfect bridal makeup, and gajra-adorned hair added an oomph to her look. Varun, on the other hand, looked dapper in an ivory-hued sherwani featuring heavy golden embroidery, and he teamed it with a matching doshala and trousers.
