On May 25, Arunabh took to his IG handle and dropped two stunning pictures from his wedding ceremony. It was a simple, intimate and beautiful Indian wedding. In the first picture, we can see the bride and groom posing for the camera in their gorgeous wedding ensembles. The bride, Shruti Ranjan looked pretty in a simple red-hued sheer saree, adorned with gold thread-work on the border. Her scoop neck choli was embellished with intricate gold detailing. She neatly placed a sheer dupatta on her crown and accessorised her look with a choker, a maang teeka, a nath and red choodas.

On the other hand, the groom looked dapper in a cream-hued sherwani, paired with a maroon-coloured Nehru jacket and a same coloured pagdi. In the second picture, we can see the mangalsutra moment, and the frame was too beautiful for words. While her groom was tieing the uniquely designed mangalsutra around her neck, Shruti's smile spoke volumes about her happiness and joy. Alongside the pictures, Arunabh penned a caption which can be read as:

"We tied the knot of holy matrimony a while back in presence of our immediate family members and wish for everyone's blessing for both of us…and as we complete 10 years of companionship, we look forward to a journey ahead full of love & light, and wish to celebrate this occasion with our friends and well-wishers soon."

Earlier, in an interview with a media portal, Arunabh had shared about his meet-cute with his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Shruti and said they had fallen in love while discussing studies. He had also mentioned how Shruti had always been his pillar of support. In his words:

"We met at IIT Bombay where Shruti was pursuing her MSc in Environmental Science and it was not our love for acting that broke the ice but the discussions we had on Environmental Science and Meditation. She started dating me when I had no money, no work and no one knew me but she was always standing beside me. After, being diagnosed with partial blindness in my right eye because of depression, I actually started seeing things more clearly and what mattered to me the most. While I was racing against my treatment to create a comic books and mentoring the team at TVF, we both decided to make our bond official."
