With Rashmika Mandanna opening up about facing the deepfake incident, one after the other celebs also came up revealing the same. Not just that, eminent personalities in Bollywood, including Amitabh Bachchan and Mrunal Thakur too, strongly reacted to the same. However, as the photo morphers didn't pay any heed to them, after Rashmika, the same incidents also happened with Katrina Kaif, Sara Tendulkar-Shubman Gill and many more. Now, the incident occurred with Sonnalli Seygall, who recalled going through a similar deepfake incident and revealed how her mom brought it to her notice.
During an interview with India Today, Sonnalli Seygall opened up about her own deepfake story and revealed what happened when her photos were morphed. Sonnalli mentioned that when she became the target of attackers, the incident was extremely ‘scary'. Recalling her own experience, she said that it was her mother, who brought it to her notice. Sonnalli also mentioned that the morphed pictures deeply affected her mother and shared:
“Actually, my mom brought it to my notice and my mom is very gullible and at least at that point when it was also new, she did not understand. It really affected her. She said what are these pictures of yours? And I was like they are not real mom, they are morphed.”

Further, calling the incident extremely 'scary', Sonnalli explained that it made her angry with those who did the same. Thus, stating that these things are completely against the law, she mentioned that such wrongdoers should get punished. Not only that, she asked her fans and followers to raise their voices and not ignore such incidents as this makes a woman vulnerable.

Thus, expressing her happiness about the same, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sonnalli shared that this is her first Ganpati celebration after her wedding. Talking about the same, the actress stated that she and her husband, Ashesh have been welcoming Ganpati Bappa to their home for the past seven years. However, this year was more special for her.
