Talking about her personal life, Sonam got married to the love of her life, Anand Ahuja, on May 8, 2018. And it was on August 20, 2022, when the much-in-love couple hopped onto the parenthood journey with the arrival of their baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Being an avid social media user, Sonam often provides her fans with snippets of her motherhood journey. And yet, the same happened again, as Sonam gave us a sneak peek into her most precious gems on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras.
Talking to her IG handle, Sonam dropped a slightly blurred photo of her baby boy, Vayu, along with his papa, Anand. In the photo, Vayu can be seen sitting on his papa, Anand's lap while they play with a ball. In the next clip, we can see Anand Ahuja practising yoga. However, what melted our hearts was Sonam's voice in the background. Sonam can be heard asking Vayu if he thinks his 'dada' is cool enough. Sharing the photos, Sonam penned an adorable note, wherein he called her baby boy and hubby her most precious gems. Sonam's caption can be read as:
"All my Dhan in the world… Happy Dhanteras everyone.. May Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Kubera and Lord Dhanvantar give you the blessings of wealth, prosperity and wellbeing. "

However, what caught our attention was the diva's phone lock screen that featured her baby boy, Vayu's face, and how cute is that! Yet, on October 12, 2023, Sonam Kapoor was spotted in the city. However, it was Diva's cutesy pendant with the inscription of Vayu's name that melted our hearts.

For the unversed, back on August 21, 2023, Vayu turned one year older. And his doting mom, Sonam dropped some adorable glimpses from the low-key celebrations at their home. In one of the photos, we could see Sonam, Anand, and Vayu taking part in a puja together. Vayu could be seen wearing a cute tiny attire, which was a green-hued kurta-pyjama. Yet in another photo, Sonam, who was decked up in a yellow salwar, could be seen sharing a candid moment with her little bundle of joy, and it was simply heart-melting.

During one of her events in Mumbai, Sonam Kapoor opened up about her feelings for holding her baby boy in her arms for the first time. The diva said that the moment her baby was born, and she held him in her arms, it was one of the best things she had ever felt. Calling those feelings a moment of euphoria, Sonam revealed a few more anecdotes about the day when her baby boy was born. She said that she had a normal delivery, and on that day, she was surrounded by her loved ones.
