At the beginning of 2024, the announcement which made the biggest headline was Shoaib Malik’s third marriage. The Pakistani all-rounder married Lollywood actress, Sana Javed in an intimate wedding ceremony. On January 20, 2024, Shoaib shared a collaborative post with the actress announcing his marriage and captioned it as “Alhamdullilah. ‘And We created you in pairs.’”
In the glimpses, the cricketer can be seen wearing a white-hued sherwani featuring golden-toned detailing all over it. Sana, on the other hand, donned an exquisite ivory net Peshwa adorned with silver sequins, cutdana, mukaish and naksh work, and paired with a silk crushed sharara featuring embellished borders. She completed her look with a dupatta and heavy pieces of jewellery.

On February 8, 2024, Sana Shoaib Malik took to her Instagram stories to share an update regarding her life. In the glimpse, two pairs of feet were seen that were covered with yellow and white striped towels. The picture was taken from a rooftop poolside of a building. It seemed that the husband-wife duo, i.e., Sana and Shoaib were relaxing on their honeymoon. The Pakistani actress posted the picture without any captions, seemingly not divulging much detail regarding their whereabouts.
However, a Pakistani media portal, WOW 360, shared the same picture on their Instagram page and captioned it as “Sana Javed shares intimate moments from her honeymoon with husband Shoaib Malik.” As soon as the cosy picture of Sana with Shoaib was shared on the page, netizens started penning down their thoughts on the same. One user wrote, “She took her problem, not her man.” Another one said, “Yeh toh thak ni gaya tha packing kr kr kai.” A third comment can be read as “No shame in getting married again, but plz beee ashamed of posting pictures like these... U showbiz ppl are all so so so stressed.”

When Shoaib Malik announced that he got married to Sana Javed, netizens got enraged by the same. They started questioning the duo about their respective previous partners. For those who don’t know, the Pakistani cricketer was previously married to the Indian tennis legend, Sania Mirza. The former couple are parents to their baby boy, Izhaan. Prior to marrying Sania in 2010, Shoaib had tied the knot with Aisha (Maha) Siddiqui in 2002. Meanwhile, Sana Javed was in nikah with the Pakistani singer, Umair Jaswal for three years, from 2020-2023.
Shoaib and Sana tied the knot without publicly announcing their divorce from their respective partners, and their misstep led to a huge uproar on social media. People started digging out dirt on the duo and reportedly found out that they first met on a Pakistani reality TV show, Jeeto Pakistan in 2021. This fuelled rumours that Shoaib and Sana were entangled in an extramarital affair and cheating on their respective spouses. However, to date, there has been no confirmation or denial by either party on the same.
