Shoaib Malik shocked everyone when he announced to the world via an Instagram post that he is now married to actress, Sana Javed. The news came as a shock because the cricketer was previously married to Indian tennis sensation, Sania Mirza, and the duo never officially announced their divorce. Soon after, Sania Mirza's father revealed that the tennis star separated from Shoaib through 'Khula', which is an Islamic right bestowed on Muslim women, making them eligible to divorce their husbands unilaterally.
Sana Javed was also previously married to Umair Jaswal, and the couple divorced two months ago for her nuptials with Shoaib Malik. Sana and Shoaib's wedding was not received well by the netizens, who were equally miffed with the duo for betraying their respective ex-spouses. However, the couple paid no heed to the hate they received and continued to express their love for one another.

On February 18, 2024, Sana Javed attended her cricketer-husband, Shoaib Malik's PSL Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings match. The actress looked ethereal in a black-hued sweatshirt with soft-pink glam. Sana amped up her look with loose, wavy hair and a heart-melting smile. Sana cheered the loudest for her husband, Shoaib Malik, as the cricketer played an astonishing inning but unfortunately lost the match by 55 runs.
Not soon after Sana Javed was broadcasted on Pakistani national television cheering for her husband, Shoaib, her pictures and videos went viral. Netizens criticised the couple for having no remorse after cheating on their spouses. A section of netizens even mocked Sana and warned her that soon Shoaib would bring home his fourth wife and abandon her.
