Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most popular actresses in the South Indian film industry. The actress’ separation from actor, Naga Chaitanya still leads the headlines as their fans still cannot fathom the fact that the once power couple are no longer together. And now her latest picture donning a mangalsutra went viral on social media.
Talking about the much-debated picture, it is from her upcoming film, Kushi, where Samantha will be playing the lead role opposite Vijay Deverakonda. On the occasion of Samantha’s birthday, the makers of Khushi released a new poster from the film, where she will be portraying the role of a married woman. In the picture, the actress was seen wearing a mangalsutra, and it made her fans delighted.

A few days back, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was in London for the promotion of her international web series, Citadel. In one of the pictures of the actress, she was seen flaunting the old tattoo on her rib that she got for her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. Samantha had a ‘Chay’ tattoo on the right side of her rib. Despite her separation from Chaitanya, Samantha still carries her tattoo and didn’t even try to hide it.
It was in 2017 when Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot as per Hindu and Christian rituals. However, in 2021, rumours started cropping in that the power couple of Tollywood was having troubles in their marriage. And finally, four days before their fourth wedding anniversary, Samantha and Chaitanya released an official statement about ending their marriage, leaving their massive fanbase shattered.

After separating from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha dealt with a roller coaster of emotions. In an interview with Filmfare, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that when she had started thinking about her separation from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, she was worried about whether she would just crumble or die. However, the actress added that she had found her true strength.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is rumoured to be dating actress, Sobhita Dhulipala for the past six months. It was also reported that Chaitanya and Sobhita have been spending quality time with each other and their cutesy pictures have often gone viral on social media.
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the film, Shaakuntalam.
