Their love story is something that everyone talks about. It all began from work, when Ritika Sajdeh was Rohit Sharma’s sports events manager. The duo used to meet a lot due to work purposes and little did they know that ‘work meetings’ was slowly getting converted to ‘love meetings’! And soon after, came Rohit’s filmy proposal for his lady-love, Ritika. While we will share more details about the proposal, we have something more interesting to share with you.
What looked like some beautiful blurry party nights, Ritika Sajdeh was seen wearing a loose white dress, which she teamed with a denim jacket and sling bag. Rohit and Ritika completed 3 years of marital bliss on December 13, 2018. Sharing a beautiful picture from their wedding, the couple wrote heartfelt wishes for each other. While the lady wrote, “Happy anniversary to the boy who’s been lighting up my life for over a decade now. I honestly cannot remember my life before you walked into it. Thank you for always being there for me. Here’s to many more lifetimes of this @rohitsharma45”, Rohit too, posted a crisp one-liner which spoke a million words. No, we haven’t forgotten about the proposal scene. As much as they were beginning to fall for each other, little did they know that the cricket management was going to last for a lifetime! So, on April 2015, Rohit Sharma took his then muse to Borivali sports club ground in Mumbai (this location is of special importance in Rohit’s life because it was at this place that he had first started playing when he was 11), and proposed to Ritika with a huge solitaire ring and asked her to marry him! And what was Ritika’s answer? Come on, we all know it already! And in December that very year, two greatest souls became one! For the uninitiated, Ritika used to manage Yuvraj Singh’s celebrity profile at the very beginning and also happened to be his rakhi sister. It was only due to Yuvraj that the duo met and he had asked Rohit to stay away from her! And you know what? Rohit’s first impression of Ritika was not very healthy. Recalling their first meeting, Rohit had shared, “I was shooting with some senior members of the Indian team including Yuvraj Singh. When I met Yuvi in his tralier, Ritika was there. But Yuvraj told me straightaway that Ritika was his sister and I should not even look at her.”
For some unheard Rohit Sharma facts, the doting hubby sometimes cooks scrambled eggs in breakfast for his wife. Also, do you know, Rohit had once forgotten his wedding ring at a hotel and everyone in the Indian cricket team made fun of him? Well, we hope he got it though!
Ritika and Rohit are not very outspoken when it comes to speaking of their love in public. But their social media PDA is enough to depict the love that they have for each other.
