Bollywood producer, Rhea Kapoor is the one who had turned her sister, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, into a millennial influencer. She is not just a style maven or another 'Kapoor', but she is the mind and soul behind some of the hit films such as Veere Di Wedding, Khoobsurat and Aisha. The young beauty, Rhea Kapoor is once again in the headlines as the first picture from her wedding with her boyfriend, Karan Boolani is out.
The pre-wedding functions had kickstarted on August 14, 2021, and the pictures and videos of the entire Kapoor khandaan gathered together at Anil Kapoor’s residence in their glam avatars are still doing rounds on social media. Arjun Kapoor had dazzled in a blue kurta, while Janhvi Kapoor had slayed in a sequined and mirror worked golden lehenga. Anshula Kapoor had looked gorgeous in a red saree, whereas, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor had looked ravishing in a yellow and orange lehenga respectively.

Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Karan Boolani, on August 14, 2021. After a long wait, finally, Rhea shared the first-ever picture from her intimate wedding ceremony. The gorgeousness wore a white and golden saree with a cutwork border. She accessorised her look with heavy kundan jewellery, and her checkered net dupatta covering her head stole the show. In the picture, Rhea can be seen sporting sindoor and unique diamond mangalsutra. On the other hand, the groom, Karan can be seen wearing a golden sherwani with a red bandhani dupatta.
Sharing the picture, Rhea wrote, "2 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. A few minutes ago, Karan Boolani also shared a picture on his IG handle from his wedding with Rhea Kapoor, and it simply warms our hearts. Along with the priceless picture, Karan penned a note in the caption and it can be read as "Yesterday we made it official to the world… but you and I have been ride or die for over a decade and for that I would like to thank four people who have given me a crazy amount of love, respect, encouragement and constant collaboration. First is a film producer, the second is a fashion stylist.. the third is the mother of my daughter lemon and the fourth is the finest cook to have performed miracles in a domestic kitchen..and their names are Rhea Kapoor. To the best decision, I’ve ever made. Here's to us and everything that awaits us together."
Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani dated each other for more than 13 long years before tying the knot. To mark her beau's birthday on October 6, 2020, Rhea had penned the most adorable wish for him. Taking to her IG handle, Rhea had written, "Happy birthday to my growing up partner, the relief that if I never do anything right in my life again I got the most important thing right, to the reason I got a head start to being myself, truly, the love of my life. 13 years of you is not even close to enough. I feel like we just met and I've known you forever. #myman."
On September 8, 2020, Rhea Kapoor had recalled the shooting days of her first film, Aisha and had revealed what had made those days extra-special for her. She had shared two pictures from the film wrap, where she could be seen hugging her beau, Karan Boolani. Along with it, Rhea had written, "Film Wrap! My first film and my first love. I was 21 when it started and 22 here. #babyproducer (Aisha, 2010)." To which, Karan had commented, "My favourite love story is ours", followed by an array of hearts.

In an interview with Zoom TV, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had confirmed her sister, Rhea Kapoor's relationship for the first time. When she was asked to comment on Rhea and Karan's wedding rumours, the actress had said, "Oh, no. When she does get married, I'll be very happy to tell you. They've been dating for 10 years, they've not gotten married yet. When the happy news is there, it'll all be announced. But, no, they are not getting married this year."
