One of the most popular and the sensation of the 90s, Raveena Tandon, broke millions of hearts when she walked down the aisle and got married. The lucky guy was none other than the famous film distributor, Anil Thadani. While she just had a bitter break up with Akshay Kumar, Anil, on the other hand, was going through a rough patch in his personal life as well as he was married to the daughter of Romu Sippy. These broken hearts met and soon their own love chronicle started. (You may Also Like: Raveena Tandon's Love Life: From Being Cheated By A Bollywood Superstar To Her Final Dig At Love)
Raveena and Anil got married on February 22, 2004, at a Palace in Udaipur after having exchanged rings in November 2003. It’s been almost 14 years that the two are married, but their love for each other is still afresh. Today, on October 3, it’s Anil’s birthday and the actress made sure to make it the most special one. As we all know, Raveena has always remained away from the glitz and she doesn’t speak much about her personal life. But this time, to wish her Prince Charming, Raveena shared a couple of mushy pictures with him on her official social media account.
Raveena took to her official Instagram account and shared a few lovely PDA-filled pictures with the man of her dreams. Wishing Anil, her caption could be read as, “Forever. Love Laughter Honesty Companionship Trust Happiness My Strength, you made that all happen. This life time and all the rest to come. Forever Happy Birthday my love.” Here are the clicks shared by her:
Talking about their love story and how their wedding was planned, Anil had once stated, “Raveena was producing her film Stumped. And I was releasing the film for her. At that point, I dealt only with her partners. It was only after the release that we met and got to know each other personally. We knew each other socially; we were business acquaintances, so the question of love at first sight didn’t arise. But one thing led to another and quickly. So it didn’t take me long to propose to her. I guess when things are meant to be, they just work out. In fact, if you realise our courtship period didn’t last longer than five-six months. We were engaged for two months and then we got married. I never wanted a big wedding. I thought she would prefer a grand one but surprisingly she was on the same page. I think we’re similar in many ways. (Laughs) But there are natural differences of course.” (You May Also Like: Throwback Interview Of Ajay Devgn Snapping Back At Raveena Tandon For Lying, Denies Falling For Her)
Once in an interview, Anil laughed off when asked about who picks up fights. He was quoted as saying, “She’s always picking on me with trivial stuff like, ‘You don’t give me too much attention. You’re working so much, why are you not spending more time with me?’ The good thing is we’ve reached a point where troubles in the relationship normalise on their own. There’s no need to apologise.”
Sharing details about what kind of conversations they have, Anil stated, “Our conversations are never about movies. What actually interests her mind is politics, general knowledge, pets... anything but films. Come to think of it, she’s a misfit in this line because movies don’t interest her at all. Yet I think she’s done an exceptional job in Satta. It’s one of my favourite movies besides a few of her other entertaining flicks.” (Suggested Read: Jasleen Matharu's Father On Her Break Up With Anup Jalota; Says He Shouldn't Have Created Drama)
Anil had also revealed how Raveena surprises him with dinner dates or some movie tickets. He said, “Raveena likes surprising me with a dinner date or tickets for a trip abroad. It doesn’t happen too often because our kids are still young. We don’t have the heart to leave them behind, so we mostly take them along. Time becomes a limitation with both our work schedules.”
Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani make a lovely couple inside out. They both have been giving some serious relationship goals and there is no second thought about that. Here’s wishing Anil a very happy birthday!
