Bollywood's cutest couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in his Vastu residency in Mumbai. Glimpses from their wedding are still now making rounds on the internet, and their millions of fans are still gushing over them. And once again, they popped up with another shocking news when they announced their 'good news' with their huge fanbase. Since then, their fans, friends and family are flooding them with congratulatory messages and showering immense love on them.

On June 27, 2022, it was Ranbir Kapoor's darling wife, Alia Bhatt who had taken to her IG handle and had posted adorable pictures to announce about her pregnancy. The first picture had featured the much-in-love couple in the hospital room, having Alia's sonography done while being clicked. The second picture had featured a lion-lioness along with their cub in a cuddling moment. Sharing the pictures, Alia had penned:

“Our baby ….. coming soon.”

After Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had announced their news, their family members have been brimming with excitement and joy for the same. And now, it was Ranbir's tauji, Randhir Kapoor who opened up about his feeling upon knowing his nephews' news of soon embracing fatherhood for the first time in his life. Just like all other members of the Kapoor khandan, Randhir, in a short interview with the Etimes, shared that he is feeling elated, and this news is a 'very good news'. In his words:

"Bachut achchi baat hai. I am elated."

A while back, Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor was papped at her shooting sets, and was congratulated by the paps for the same. When she had asked them the reason behind wishing her, they had said, “Dadi benne waale ho aap.” To this, the dadi-to-be was seen brimming with happiness and excitement. Check out:

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Randhir Kapoor had opened up about his nephew's wedding with Alia Bhatt. Randhir had shared that Ranbir and Alia's wedding is an extremely emotional day for the entire Kapoor parivar. Reflecting on the reason behind this, Randhir had remembered his younger brother, late Rishi Kapoor and had stated that each and every member of the Kapoor family had missed Rishi's presence on this big day. An emotional Randhir had said:

"To be honest, everyone is emotional today as well. Chintu should have been here. We miss him every day, but today we are missing him more. But life goes on. It is nice to see Ranbir and Alia are starting this new chapter."
