Despite being a government employee, Keshubhai Udhas used to play the sitar, while his wife, Jituben Udhas had a great passion for singing. Both his elder brothers, Manhar Udhas and Nirmal Udhas went on to become famous singers.

With so much inclination towards music in their family, it was evident that Pankaj would also do something in the field of music. However, no one knew that the youngest child would go on to become the biggest name in the entire family. Pankaj Udhas not only made a timeless mark in Bollywood with his soulful tracks but was also one of the few singers who introduced ghazals to the masses.

The couple welcomed two daughters, Nayaab and Reva.

Unfortunately, days after Pankaj Udhas and Farida's 42nd wedding anniversary, the ghazal maestro passed away at the age of 72 due to pancreatic cancer. The legendary singer is survived by his wife and their two daughters, Reva and Nayaab. It's impossible to understand the pain they're going through as they will carry it for the rest of their lives. With his years of earnings, Pankaj Udhas managed to buy a residence worth crores, which is located at one of Mumbai's poshest areas, Peddar Road. The ghazal maestro named his residence, Hillside and lived there for most of his life with his wife and daughters. According to a report in Asianet News, Pankaj Udhas' luxurious mansion is worth over Rs. 25 crore.

For the unversed, Pankaj Udhas was also madly in love with expensive cars. As per multiple reports, he spent a lot of money on cars as, right from an early age, he was in love with swanky cars.

As per a report in Times Now Hindi, Pankaj was a proud owner of expensive cars like Audi A6 (Rs. 62 lakhs), Mitsubishi Lancer (Rs. 7 lakhs), Hyundai Santro (Rs. 4 lakh), and 1951 Model Fiat, which was one of the most expensive cars in the country back in the 50s.

In the coming years, Pankaj Udhas earned thousands of lakhs for performing at live events and singing in Bollywood films.
