Munawar Faruqui, who won hearts with his stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17, recently lost his temper in front of the camera after a restaurant owner reportedly threw eggs at him at Mohammed Ali Road in Mumbai. The incident took place earlier this week around midnight. While Munawar avoided talking about the incident initially, he finally reacted and shared what actually happened.
On April 11, 2024, Munawar, who lifted the Bigg Boss17 trophy, hosted a live session on Instagram, and talked about the same incident. Munawar clearly revealed that the eggs were not thrown at him, but he was caught in the crossfire. The famous stand-up comedian further stated that he got agitated in the video as he was upset about the fact that eggs were thrown at senior citizens. He was quoted as saying:
"Aur dosto kisi ne mereko anda vanda nhi mara main theek hun. Waha pe wo jo do dukandar the unke beech fight chal gayi thi. To tumhara bhai thoda badhak gaya tha. Chacha log ko ande lage the. Abhi apne ko kaun marega? Toh main theek hun kisi ne mere ko anda vanda nahi mara hai."

Munawar further revealed that the egg fight happened due to the jealousy of competing businesses. He stated that the businesses got into a fight, and later, they ended up throwing eggs. He said:
"Competitors are jealous of each other but the people who are jealous of me are not even my competition."
After winning the show, Munawar did an Insta Live, wherein he was seen taking a dig at Mannara Chopra. The BB 17 winner shared that Aoora was the winner in the NRI category. He didn't stop there, he further added that Navid Sole was runner-up in the NRI category. Munawar also stated that Ankita Lokhande was a winner in the wife category, while Vicky Jain was a winner in the husband category. He was quoted as saying:
Bigg Boss main Aoora ko jante ho vo winner the NRI category mein. Aur Navid runner up NRI mein. Ankita wife category mein winner thi. Husband category mein Vicky bhai."

For the unversed, after coming out of the show, Mannara Chopra instantly changed her IG bio. She mentioned in her bio that she was Bigg Boss 17's second runner-up and winner in the female category. However, she quickly changed it, but the eagle-eyed netizens were quick to take a screenshot of the same, and it went viral on the internet.
