Mrunal Thakur is one of the finest actresses of her generation. She is known for her prolific acting skills and charming personality on-screen. On the work front, she was last seen in the film, Hi Nanna, opposite the popular actor, Nani. In addition, Mrunal's fashion statements are one thing which never misses a chance to drool our hearts every time she makes public appearances. Thus, all of her work has indeed paid her well, and she is making one after the other achievements in her life.
Now, Mrunal Thakur became the proud owner of a jodi flat in the western suburbs of Mumbai. According to a report in Times Now, Kangana Ranaut's family previously owned Mrunal's flat, and a Mumbai broker facilitated the deal. The report stated that the jodi flat previously belonged to Kangana's brother and father, who were 50 percent owners of each of them. The flat is currently being renovated as per the actress' choice.

Mrunal is one of the hit actresses in the South Indian film industry, with her one after the other releases. However, when she joined the industry, she too had a fair share of struggles. Talking about the same in an interaction with The Indian Express, Mrunal recalled how people reacted to her venturing into Tollywood. The diva mentioned that she made the decision to join Tollywood when she was pretty stable in her Hindi film career. Therefore, her professional transition wasn’t really accepted by the masses. Adding how people even called it an ‘acid test’ for her, Mrunal stated:
“There were all kinds of articles written, one was that this is an ‘Acid test for Mrunal Thakur.’ But here’s the thing, I am not on a target to do five films in a year. I will, if they are good. I really am just following my intuition and I am fearless.”
Although Mrunal struggled to make a name for herself, she never misses the chance to credit others for their talents and hard work. Once, a Reddit user shared a video of Murnal from one of her interviews. In the video, the actress shared how the star kids often face huge criticism online. However, Mrunal mentioned that star kids like Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday and many others, have no such fault in general. Instead, she pointed towards the media hype and talked about the audience's reaction that creates such a situation to get inside the star kids' lives. Mrunal was heard saying:
"Let's begin with media, example, we don't have Ananya and Janhvi unfortunately, but trust me, bahut sarein, ye point bhi miss hogaya nepotism ka. Nepotism got missed, but I have to say something ki nepotism is not because... unka koi fault nahi hai yaar, they are star kids you know. It's we as common people, who are so intrigued to know ki unke life mein kya chal raha hai."

Further, Mrunal casted an example from her own experiences and narrated an incident when the media had ignored her for a star kid. She shared that at that time, she was just mid-way through her interview when the media started running behind a star kid. However, Mrunal mentioned that both she and Janhvi were awarded the same night, but the latter got more media coverage. Elaborating her point, Mrunal stated:
"I'll give you one simple example, Awards night chal rahi thi, and the interview session was happening. I'm in the middle of an interview and the media ran behind the star kid. Now, tell me- I have been awarded as the best actor or critic as same as Janhvi being awarded the same night, I was not even handed the speech. I'm not saying that I'm jealous or something, I'm saying that it's not their fault, stop pointing nepotism. What I feel it also depends on the audience and the media especially."
