After 10 years of happy married life, Mohit Malik and his wife, Aditi Shirwaikar Malik’s life had taken a happy turn, when the two had gotten pregnant. After a journey of nine months amidst the gruesome situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mohit and Aditi had finally welcomed their little bundle of happiness into the world. Their nine months of happiness had turned into a happy journey of a lifetime when the two had welcomed a baby boy, whom they have named Ekbir.
It was on April 30, 2021, when Aditi Shirwaikar Malik and Mohit Malik had announced the news of becoming 'three' and had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son. Mohit and Aditi had announced the news of welcoming a baby boy by sharing the first glimpses of their newborn. Mohit and Aditi had captioned their posts as "Dear Universe, Thank you for this blessing! Thank you for these midnight cries and all that comes with it, because we truly feel lucky to welcome our little baby boy into our world of love! He's Here and He's Truly Magic. From 2 to 3, Happily Ever After… Yours Truly, Parents of #BabyMalik Mohit & Addite."
Mohit and Aditi’s son, Ekbir is enjoying his dadi ka pyaar to the fullest. For every grandparent, their grandkids are most special and nobody can pamper the child more than them. Mohit and Aditi’s son, Ekbir too is blessed with a loving dadi. Taking to his IG stories, Mohit captured the adorable moment shared between his son and his mother. In the video, we can see Mohit’s mother sitting at their balcony, with her grandson in her arms and lovingly caressing his face as the two soaked the sun. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Daadi ka pyaar” followed by a red heart emoticon atop it. Check out the screenshot below:
Aditi Malik also took to her IG handle and shared a picture of how Ekbir's nana-nani showered love on their grandson. Sharing the picture, Aditi wrote that she feels happy giving her parents the happiness of becoming grandparents. She wrote, "The best gift a parent can get is becoming grandparents. Seeing them with Ekbir makes me feel so lucky that I could give them this joy and I feel blessed that our little baby has brought in so much happiness and positivity into our lives!"
Not just Ekbir, Mohit’s mother has been pampering her bahu, Aditi, as well. A few days back, Aditi had taken to her IG handle and had shared a picture with her mother-in-law, where the two were seen having a beautiful laugh. Along with the picture, Aditi had thanked her saasu maa for pampering her post her delivery. Revealing how her saasu maa religiously oils her hair as post-natal care, Aditi had written, “Our culture really emphasizes on massages post-delivery as well as taking care of oneself after having given birth to a child. They say a woman's body can take some months to heal back. I feel blessed to have my mother-in-law who truly is a mother for me because she makes sure that she gives me a good head massage daily with almond oil.”
Aditi had further revealed how the pampering from her mother-in-law makes her feel blessed. She had added, “The pampering is truly making me feel so blessed and I think truly motherhood isn't a journey alone but one together and one that your loved ones around you can make easier, more beautiful and special. I am truly blessed to have a strong support system making these initial days so much more easier and memorable for me.”
On May 12, 2021, Mohit Malik had taken his Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture with his wife, Aditi and their baby boy to reveal their baby prince’s name. The couple had revealed that their newborn’s name is Ekbir Malik. The delighted father had revealed the meaning of his son’s name, and had written, "My Brave One, You Have Come Into Our Lives during the toughest times the world has seen, giving us so much strength, love, and positivity! You give us a future to look forward to....We Love You Ekbir Malik! @ekbirmalik #proudparents #babymalik #ekbirmalik." On the other side, Aditi had posted a cutesy IG Reel and had expressed her happiness in the caption. Her note could be read as "What is in a name? Well you are Brave, You are Positive, You are Strong and you are our Strength and all our prayers answered, our Ekbir! We You @ekbirmalik."
