Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan’s fans got a sweet surprise when a video of the actress’ intimate wedding with her long-time beau, Salim Karim made its way to social media. For the wedding, Mahira looked stunning in an ivory-hued lehenga with a matching choli and a dupatta pinned on her head. With her hair tied in a bun, Mahira kept her look subtle with a diamond necklace, matching earrings and maang teeka.
On the other hand, her groom, Salim Karim looked dapper in a black sherwani paired with a blue turban. The dreamy nikah looked straight out of a fairytale, but a few glimpses from the video looked as if the moments were inspired by the recent Bollywood weddings. Mahira and Salim’s nikah ceremony featured similar glimpses from Kira-Sidharth and Parineeti-Raghav’s wedding.

The customs and rituals were not the same, but the bride, Mahira’s entry, while the groom, Salim standing far away, looked quite like the Bollywood celeb’s wedding. Similarly, the way Salim hugged Mahira was exactly like how Sidharth Malhotra hugged his dulhan, Kiara Advani at the mandap. Many Pakistani fans also stated that Mahira’s wedding was inspired by Indian celeb weddings. Some even questioned Mahira's dressing like an Indian bride.
Some time back, there were faint rumours about Mahira Khan dating Pakistani businessman, Salim Karim. In an interview with Samina Peerzada in 2022, Mahira confirmed her dating rumours. When the host asked Mahira whether she was in love, the actress smiled and nodded her head and also stated that the love of her life was not from the industry.

Mahira was previously married to Ali Aksari. Despite Mahira’s father being against her wedding to Ali, the actress got married to him in 2007. Mahira was just 23, when she got married to Ali and the lovely couple was blessed with a son in 2009. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t go well, and Mahira and Ali got divorced in 2015. The custody of their son was given to Mahira.
Mahira Hafeez Khan, better known as Mahira Khan is one of the most stunning actresses in Pakistan. Though Mahira began her career as a VJ in 2006, she rose to prominence with her role as ‘Khirad Hussain’ in the popular show, Humsafar.
