American socialite, Kourtney Kardashian revealed in June 2023 that she is ready to welcome her first child with her husband, Travis Barker. She announced her pregnancy at a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles, where her husband performed. Travis Barker postponed his Europe tour a few days back, citing an ‘urgent family matter’ as the reason behind such action.
As per a report by Page Six, the couple, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, was seen leaving a hospital in Los Angeles. It was reported that Kourtney was briefly hospitalised due to an emergency. The 44-year-old reality star had a brief stay at the hospital, and she was back home on September 4, 2023.

On September 6, 2023, Kourtney Kardashian took to her official Instagram account to share updates about her health. In the post, she thanked her doctors for saving her unborn baby boy’s life and acknowledged the support of her husband, Travis and her mom, Kris Jenner. She penned:
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband, who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."
Kourtney mentioned she was not prepared for an urgent surgery and now has a profound respect for mothers who fight to keep their babies safe. She said:
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
In the same post, Kourtney Kardashian thanked God for keeping her baby boy safe and added that walking out of the hospital entirely safe was the truest blessing. She mentioned in the caption:
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
Netizens took the opportunity to shower blessings and well-wishes upon the baby and his to-be-mommy.
For the unversed, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker made their relationship official in 2021. They tied the knot in May 2022 in Italy. The duo announced their pregnancy in June 2023. As per a report by Hollywood Life, Kourtney's delivery date is said to be between October and December 2023.
Kourtney Kardashian already has three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, from her previous relationship with Scott Disick. At the same time, Travis Barker has two children, Alabama and Landon, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.
