The world rejoiced when the B-town couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in a very intimate ceremony in Rajasthan in 2021. Their dreamy pictures from the ceremonies testify to their undying love for each other. Off lately, the couple has revealed a lot of intimate details surrounding their nuptials and their big day.
Tiger 3 actress, Katrina Kaif, recently disclosed that she had cold feet while she was planning her wedding. During a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival, the actress expressed that she was very apprehensive before her wedding as the world was still reeling under the pandemic back then. Katrina shared that her nervousness peaked as her big day coincided with the post-lockdown period. She revealed that she wanted the entire family to gather for her special day. Katrina said:
"We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many, many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families there. All that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family had to be there from all the corners of the world, which we managed. So yes, that was wonderful."

Katrina Kaif also shared a funny anecdote from her wedding. She mentioned that they are a family of six girls, Stephanie Turcotte, Christine Turcotte, Natacha Turcotte, Melissa Turcotte, Isabelle Kaif, and Sonia Turcotte. She also talked about the chaos of having a family with so many girls. The actress laughed and recalled that she and her siblings would fight for mirror space, combs, and hairbrushes. However, they are all skilled at braiding each other's hair. Katrina further added:
"My sisters became my support system. We are an insular unit that we don’t need anyone else. People are welcome, but when we all are together, it feels complete.”

Katrina and Vicky had an intimate wedding at a resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Only close friends and family attended. During a red carpet event last year, Katrina revealed why they chose to keep their wedding a secret. When asked about their private wedding, Katrina told Zoom at the event, that as the world was severely affected by COVID-19, they were restricted regarding a lot of things. She further divulged:
“I think more than trying to keep it private, we were restricted by, unfortunately, COVID-19. You know my family has been personally affected by COVID-19, and it was something that you had to take seriously. But the wedding was beautiful. I think we are both very happy."
On the professional front, both Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are doing really well with their latest releases. Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 saw the light of the day on Diwali and has garnered over INR 400 crore worldwide.
