The Pavitra Rishta fame, Karan Veer Mehra got married to his longtime girlfriend and popular actress, Nidhi V Seth, in 2021 in Delhi. For the unversed, it was Karan's second marriage, and he was previously married to his childhood friend, Devika, for eight long years. Coming back to Karan and Nidhi's marriage, reports claiming that the once much-loved couple has separated have been surfacing in the media for quite some time. Now, finally, Nidhi addressed the same and confirmed the news by revealing some more anecdotes.
In an interview with the ETimes, Nidhi V Seth finally opened up about what went wrong in her marriage with Karan Veer Mehra, which led to their separation and divorce. She also confirmed the news about their relationship hitting a rough patch almost a year ago and mentioned that they are already divorced. Revealing how toxicity can never be accepted, the actress said:
“Yes, we got divorced three months ago. We separated almost a year ago. I feel that toxicity in any relationship should not be accepted.”

In the same conversation, Nidhi hinted at Karan's certain personality traits, which were completely unknown to her and mentioned how these can ruin many relationships. She also explained what factors are necessary in a marriage. Nidhi added:
“Mental peace, mutual respect, loyalty and financial stability are necessary in a marriage. There are deeper aspects that should be considered before getting into a relationship. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough awareness in this world about certain personality traits and behaviour, which can ruin relationships.”
On the work front, while Karan Veer is busy shooting in Mumbai for his current television show, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, Nidhi is taking a break from her acting career. She has relocated to Bengaluru and is living with her parents. Talking about the same, the Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actress shared that she is currently focussing on her interior designing career. She mentioned:
“Mumbai will always be close to my heart. I am passionate about acting and it will always be a part of my life, but currently, I am enjoying my break and focusing on my interior designing career for now. I love the weather, food and culture in Bengaluru, but whenever there is an interesting acting opportunity, I will come to Mumbai.”

For the unknown, Karan and Nidhi had met for the first time on a set while shooting a commercial in 2008. After that, they got extremely busy with their respective work and lost contact. Finally, after three years, they reconnected during the shooting of a project. Gradually, they formed a beautiful friendship which blossomed into love within some time. Following this, they decided to hop onto the forever journey by tying the knot on January 24, 2021, in an Anand Karaj ceremony. However, soon, the couple’s marriage hit a rough patch, and eventually, they decided to separate.
