Over the years, we have seen tons of on-screen couples turning into real-life couples and giving us major couple goals. But without a shadow of a doubt, the television industry is the one, who has given more and true real-life couples to the world. One such couple is the television industry’s most humble and charming actor, Karan Mehra and his gorgeous wife and singer-actress, Nisha Rawal. It was in November 2012 that Karan and Nisha had gotten married and after 5 years of marital bliss, this duo had embraced parenthood as they had welcomed their little cheesecake, Kavish Mehra. However, not a lot of people know this, but Karan is a sort of person, who loves spending time with his family instead of attending all the parties and events of the telly world. But losing one of the most important members of his life and family, his grandmother, who passed away and left a huge void in his life. This has saddened the actor to his core. Scroll down to see his heart-melting post for his grandmother!
On June 19, 2020, television actor, Karan Mehra took to his Instagram handle and posted two pictures, the first one is of his grandmother and the second one of his whole family. The actor is deeply saddened by the demise of his dadi because of the bond he used to share with her like most of us right from childhood. To pay her the respect and love she deserves, Karan wrote a long note revealing a lot of things about her. From her partition story to the things she used to teach him about life, and how dearly he’s going to miss her every day. The actor started his note explaining how fragile our existence is. In his words, "My Amijaan My Dadi. One of the most difficult times of our life and getting this most disturbing news of your demise Amijaan has just made realise how fragile our existence is."
Moving forward in his note, the actor called his grandmother, the bravest woman ever. He wrote, “My Dadi always liked to be called Amijaan as she was a peshauria from Peshawar. The bravest women I know who would share her partition stories, her life experiences, daughter of one of the first diplomats of India, the lovely dishes she would feed us in our summer vacations, a chocolate a day and getting pocket money that we 4 grandchildren would look forward to. Life moved on and we all grew up building our life and living our dreams. The 4 of us scattered over the globe but the one factor joining us all our Amijaan and our parents.” (Don’t Miss: Dipika Kakar Bakes Cake On Her Hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim's 33rd Birthday, Actor Shares Celebration Video)
After this, the actor shared that he feels he’s extremely lucky because he had a word with his dadi just three days before her demise. Narrating the emotions he feels right now, remembering that conversation, he wrote, “I’m glad we all spoke 3 days ago and you could hear Kavish’s voice and you telling him “Ek baar Amijaan to bolde”. The one person I would look forward to saying “Ram Ram Ji” is no more. But we know that you lived life to the fullest and always had this wonderful smile on your face that filled the room with your inner light Amijaan. You are in heaven now and we shall remember you always and never forget our existence thanks to you. Love and Light to the Mehra Family and our relatives. Let’s remember her and make her journey to the next world peaceful and with a smile.”
Karan Mehra's doting wife, Nisha Rawal also shared an emotional note on her Instagram along with the same family picture that her hubby, Karan shared on his handle. Nisha's long note can be read as "Dear Ammi Jaan. You were the only Ammi Jaan I had. I will always remember you fondly with your zest for life and the beauty with which you narrated your awe-inspiring stories. I have had the good fortune of spending some time with you and those times I shall always cherish. Your personality was magnetic and you had something about you that would attract anyone in a room. It was your million-dollar smile, a warm heart and the ease with which you took life with a pinch of salt! Kavish finally said, ‘GOOD night Ammi Jaan’ after you breathed your last yesterday! Hope you heard it and smiled from the heavens! My Karol Bagh visits won’t be the same without you! Love you Ammi Jaan and you shall always be missed."
