Somewhere around November 2020, the rumours were rife that Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath are pregnant with their second child and soon their firstborn, daughter Anayra Sharma might become a big sister. Finally, in an interactive session with fans on Twitter, Kapil confirmed that Ginni is pregnant and his show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is going off-air due to this reason. When a Twitterati asked, “@KapilSharmaK9 sir, show off air kyu kr rhe h #askkapil”, Kapil retorted, “Bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”
After confirming Ginni Chatrath’s second pregnancy, Kapil Sharma delighted his fans with a super-adorable video of their little angel, Anayra Sharma. Making our hearts melt yet again, Anayra was learning how to walk holding a walker and was dressed in a blue co-ord set with two cute ponytails. Anayra’s video surely made our day and it is cuteness beyond words! Kapil captioned the video as "Yeh lo ji...Anayra is learning how to walk." On Karwa Chauth 2020, Bharti Singh had given a glimpse of the waiting-for-the-moon phase on her Instagram Live with Ginni Chatrath and that was when we had gotten a glimpse of the alleged soon-to-be mommy, hiding her baby bump with the dupatta. Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath had celebrated the first birthday of their laado, Anayra Sharma on December 10, 2020, and their happiness on achieving this special milestone was quite evident in the pictures. Sharing pictures from Anayra's first birthday bash, Kapil had written, “Thank you so much for sending ur love n blessings to our laado on her first bday. To wish his mother, Janak Rani, on her birthday in January 2021, Kapil Sharma had posted a beautiful picture of her and another one with him and little Anayra Sharma in the frame. Though Kapil had simply captioned the post with "Happy bday maa", the picture had spoken volumes of the love he has for his mother. In the picture from the midnight celebration at home, Kapil could be seen giving a sweet peck on his mother’s cheeks, as she had held Anayra in her lap. Anayra, who looked adorable as ever in her Christmas-themed blue night suit, had her eyes on the cake.
