Kangana Ranaut is known for expressing her opinions on current affairs. She actively takes part in what's happening in the nation, politics and Bollywood. However, the actress landed in trouble after she thought a 'satire news' to be actual news and called out her ex-boyfriend, Hrithik Roshan, but Kangana made sure not to name him directly. She even took a jibe at star wives, only to realise that it was fake news, and deleted it later.
On February 25, 2024, Kangana took to her Instagram stories and re-shared a satirical post on the recently passed Anti-Cheat Bill. For the unversed, the bill was passed in the Lok Sabha to prevent cheating in various public examinations. However, the post in which Kangana shared her views talked about cheating in relationships, and the actress mistook it to be 'real news'. Taking a dig at star wives, Kangana wrote:
"Ahem ahem, welcome to Ram Rajya, all-star wives can thank this government."

However, in another IG story, Kangana took a jibe at her alleged ex-beau, Hrithik Roshan. She requested the government that no man should be able to abandon a woman after dating her for long, and if he does, he must pay for her maintenance and give her alimony. It seems Kangana soon realised her goof-up and immediately deleted the post.
The news of Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's relationship shocked everyone. Meanwhile, Hrithik kept denying his relationship with Kangana. The actress gave proof and details that the Kites actor had persuaded her to love. According to murmurs, Hrithik and Kangana started secretly dating each other after their film, Krrish 3. However, Hrithik was still married to his first wife, Sussanne Khan. The reports also claimed that it was his extra-marital affair with Kangana that took a toll on his marriage. Soon, in a media interaction, Kangana claimed that Hrithik was in love with her and wanted to divorce his then-wife, Sussanne, to marry her. She even called him her 'silly ex'. However, when Hrithik came to know, he denied all such claims.
On February 21, 2024, Kangana slammed Twinkle with her Instagram stories. She reposted a video of Twinkle's old interview, wherein the actress-turned-writer stated that women need men just the same way they need handbags. However, it seems like Kangana didn't like Twinkle's pun, and she called her out. Using harsh words, Kangana called Twinkle 'nepo kid', who got a film career on a golden platter. She also called her 'curse on motherhood'. Her note could be read as:
"What are these privileged brats who call their men polythene bags, are they trying to be cool? Nepo kids born with silver spoon, given film careers on golden platters, couldn't do justice to that for sure, least they could do find some joy and fulfilment in selflessness of motherhood that also seems like a curse in their case what exactly do they want to be? Vegetables? Is that feminism?"
