It was in 2014 when actor Hrithik Roshan and his wife, Sussanne Khan had got divorced after 14 years of marital bliss. From the past few months, there had been rumours of Sussanne dating actor, Arslan Goni, but there were no linkup rumours related to Hrithik. However, on January 28, 2022, the handsome actor was spotted with a mystery girl in a Mumbai restaurant. The girl in question was none other than actress-cum-singer, Saba Azad.
Amidst the rumours of Hrithik Roshan dating Saba Azad, on February 20, 2021, the alleged couple was spotted spending some family time at his uncle, Rajesh Roshan’s home. Rajesh had shared a picture of the Roshan clan spending quality time over lunch. In one of the pictures, Saba was spotted with the family. She had donned a white sleeveless top paired with a green lower, and on the other side, Hrithik had looked handsome in a white T-shirt and pants. Rajesh had captioned the pictures as:
"Happiness is always around.. especially on a Sunday, specifically at lunch time."

On March 3, 2022, Saba took to her IG stories and posted a picture of the yummy food sent to her by her rumoured boyfriend, Hrithik's family. As Saba is sick, the stunning actress gets some pampering from Hrithik's family. Saba thanked Hrithik's family and tagged his niece, Suranika, aunt, Kanchan Roshan and cousin, Pashmina Roshan, atop her story. She wrote:
"When you’re home sick but have the bestest hoomans ever feeding you. Thankee @kanchan_roshan @suranika @pashminaroshan."
On February 26, 2022, Hrithik Roshan had taken to his Instagram stories and had shared a picture of his rumoured girlfriend, Saba Azad, and Imaad Shah's poster from their upcoming concert. Saba and Imaad perform for the band, Madboy. Giving a thumbs-up for their performance, the alleged boyfriend, Hrithik, had written atop his story:
"Kill it you guys".

According to a report in the Bombay Times, Hrithik Roshan and his alleged girlfriend, Saba Azad, had talked to each other for the first time on Twitter. As per the sources, Hrithik had liked and shared a video in which Saba was seen singing with a well-known rapper. After getting huge praises from the Greek God, the singer had decided to welcome him for his kind words. The source had further stated that that's when Saba had decided to DM Hrithik, and it was the start of a never-ending conversation. Refuting the earlier rumours of Hrithik and Saba meeting on a dating app, the source had stated that Twitter was the place from where it had all started. The source was quoted as saying:
"They have been dating for the past 2-3 months. While it was rumoured that the two met on an elite dating app, turns out that isn't true. The two met on Twitter."
